Indicated speed of 363, so should be a little bit less in reality ;)

I don't think you would notice any difference in that speed with 10-15 km per hour +/- on the speedo. I always thought the Enzo was 340 km/h car...

Something doesn't seem right in that video.......it doesn't look like the car is doing 360 km/h at all. Maybe 280- 300.

He went through six gears, very high revs in sixth. Dunno how it could be any slower, unless there's a sock in the intake :D

The speedo looked to be reading more toward 370kph. I'd agree with that being 360kph more or less. He was at the top of six right near 7800RPM. Maybe the speed of 363kph came from the people standing under the bridge; they could have had a radar gun?

The enzo video was taken on a "open freeway" day. This is a new portion of an existing freeway (A85) about to open up to general public. The director of the project is a big car fan and decided to open up the freeway before its official "launch" to supercars. That day there were 4 enzos, couple carrera gt's, xj220, venturi 260, LP640, gallardo SL and other supercars. There are other videos of that day here:

few years ago there was the same opportunity to test a new highway in France.
So the road was blocked and the (well known) owner of the first Enzo delivered in France was able to test his car: 351 Km/h as far as remember, checked by the Gendarmerie Nationale with their radar equipement. Not to bad!

    That is wonderful!

Only in Europe would they allow something special like this.

Here in North America, they would think that is inconsiderable.

Well, not really. IIRC the Most Miles Enzo of Richard Losee was crashed at such an event in America.

    Awesome run!

Vehicle speedometers can register anywhere from 3 - 7% error at the extreme velocities such as are experienced in the video-link. This is caused by many factors not the least of which is tire expansion due to heat build-up from friction with the road as velocity exceeds lift speeds.

That being said, in an Enzo, I'd imagine the margin for error to be closer to 3 rather than 7 :)

Following this logic and correcting for error, ~219 mph in an Enzo seems very attainable given enough run-up and minimal head wind. If memory serves, ~218 mph was allegedly achieved a few years ago in another Enzo.

I was a bit surprised to see the car wander a bit as he edged closer and closer to critical velocity (possibly from head wind gusts) . . . it was refreshing to see the steering wheel rock-solid for so long at sustained speeds though :)

The accelleration at the beginning is crazy. The way the needle shoots up, it looks rather like the tachometer than the speedo...
