    This is now getting beyond a joke...

    LH is a talented lad and potentially GB's next world champion....however he is in his early twenties and is already releasing a book about his life and having a street named after him in his hometown(!!!!!!!!! +50).

    I don't blame him for cashing in on the spotlight - after all the US media did the same with Tiger Woods.

    This will be the same UK media who will "hound him" out of the UK to Monaco or equivalent and the same UK media who having "met him on the way up" will do the same in reverse

    Leave the guy to demonstrate his talent on track.........

    Its not meant to be an Anti Lewis thread at all. It was a funny bit of news on the BBC news website, and thought It might make for some fun contributions. Fair enough, some - phylotic - have their own opinions and may want to go down the bashing route, but lets try to keep it as lighthearted as possible

    Perhaps they could rename the whole area, not just a road- "Lewis Hamiltown" instead of Stevenage

    In the interest of fairness, there was another street (exactly equal in all ways) named after Alonso running in a collision course to the Hamilton street.
