First of all, don't get me wrong. I love my F430.

It’s just that every time I look at the front lower bumper, it definitely makes the car appears not just odd, but funny. The 2 front inducts looks misshapen; the middle diffuser looks wrongfully tucked-in.

Is it just me? Let’s hear it from other F430 owners.

No it's not.... I think that it is the only element of the whole car design that isn't quite right, the Scud front bumper is so much better.

I would say that the Scud front bumper is much more modern, compared to the original look of it when the
430 was launched. I would keep in mind that in 2005, when the 430 came into the market, the look of it was
"current" and in line with the curvy shapes of supercars. Maybe the original look hasnt dated very well, but
it is certainly still a great looking car.

Not an F430 owner but I do feel the same way on the design of the front end. It just doesn't seem to follow the natural lines of the car. I guess that changed with the Scuderia.

Sounds like it's just you! I think it's the biggest improvement looks-wise over the 360. I never could make myself like the 360's ox yoke front bumper. I like the scuderia's as well, but will withhold judgement on which I like best until I see one live.

That's where they've borrowed it from. On a modern car it could be argued that it's awkward looking. I doubt that the 430 will be hailed as a "design masterpiece" years from now.

I quite enjoy it but I do know several people who can't stand the front of the F430.

+1.... its the shape of those oval vents that don't match anything else on the car :(

IMO, none of the design elements on the 430 work together.

    Front bumper:
The rounded intakes clash with the angular side vents. The curved tops of the vents clash with the straight edge at the top of the bumper. The central tunnel is too deep and narrow to balance with the large intakes.

    Sides:
The round shoulder intakes clash with the angular intakes on the skirts. The shoulder intakes also project up too high and disrupt the shoulder line.

    Rear:
This is the most unattractive part of the car. The tail lights look like the eyes on top of a mud skipper fish.

This is just my personal opinion on the styling. I know many people think the 430 is very attractive.

lol.......... the back is too busy and the lines do not flow IMO. The current scuderia's front bumper intakes are too square and look like the gallardo bumper intakes IMO. :(

Here is a pic of what the 430/Scuderia should have looked like, it may be a repost but the lines all flow together and the intakes match the agressive head lights of the 430.

I think it is you, I love the front, it looks agressive and sexy. The back of the 430 really bugs me, it does
not really fit in with the rest of the car.

The concept looks much better than the actual car. The lines flow together.
