    That is priceless!

The key is presented in a special red case with white Ferrari tissue paper and comes with an authentication card.

I hope this is unused tissue paper, but for that price Enzo himself should have wiped his butt with it.

Every so often the Enzo keys are in that second! Then they are found on ebay the next day.

Once they had a 612 Key aswell.

Go to Ferrari's shop in Rome if you want to see over priced tat. I was amazed at the price of things in there.

There may be a good reason to this. Think of those people who aspire to own a Ferrari, their loved ones decide that for xmas, a first step on the ladder is to buy them an incentive - a silver key.

It may sound a bit far fetched, but if I'd always set my heart on a ferrari, and was perhaps 'one big deal' off the car, then perhaps an incentive might be for my wife to buy me the key.

Before I got my first fcar (348 got in May), the previous xmas my wife bought a real ferrari keyring - say £25 and a Ferrari fleece £ 100. So I decided not to wear the fleece or indeed use the keyring until a little red number was sat on my drive - 5 months later i realised my dream

Bear in mind that most chavs won't be spending £100 on a silver Ferrari Key, £100 will go along way in Halfords

Lol !!!! Hands up who wears Ferrari branded clothing :D:D

    I quote.......

"Or that you DO own a Ferrari and are an abysmal bore with some fairly appalling personal status issues that should best be resolved by a painful course of electro-convulsive therapy"

    Nope sorry Jules....

If my Mrs had bought me a key the year before i got my 355 i would have thought she was on another of her phsychotic wind ups..........;) It would be the equivalent of me sending her a dorothy perkins gift voucher :)

The trouble is when I wear my Ferrari branded polo shirt, people ask me which Shell service station I work at.
Sadly I put it on this morning and took the kids to school in the Focus, got home and noticed my eldest son had left his sandwiches at home, so I jumped in the Ferrari and took them to his school, pull up right out side the entrance and run in. How sad that must have looked, Ferrari T shirt matching car. I feel ashamed.

Rob - you need to look beyond the obvious - they've probably had a large number of requests for Replica keys. You're assuming that Chavs are looking at the Ferrari shop and are prepared to pay their rather large prices! remember Chavs are UK based - whereas ferrari is a global brand

just accept it that people want to get a bit of Ferrari - the brand is growing and its inevitable that people will want to get as close as they can to the real thing before or after they've owned a ferrari.

Any different to ordering a Ferrari piston in silver?

So you should, sandwiches on a cold day like today !

Nick, in reality...if you were really that bothered what people thought you wouldnt drive a Ferrari, you would have a cavalier and blend into society. Those that generally point fingers of fun are lifes under achievers or people with an unhappy life usually spurned from jealousy.

Ok mate - take the test.

Send Helen some Dorothy Perkins gift vouchers.........she'll sort you out. If someone wants a Ferrari key then they should work bleedin hard and buy the real deal, not live a lie hiding behind cheap immitations thinking they have made it.
