Me too, that book is great. I'm such a nazi about that sort of thing that when it came out I thought about buying. By the end of that week though, two people had (individually) gone and bought me copies anyway (not for any particular occasion, just because it fitted)
You sneaky bastard! I was just about to quote that line too (no offense intended, it was just toooo funny given the context)
Yeah the author puts it together in such a format that it is actually interesting to read.. serves as a great reference as well.. when writing important emails etc
hahahahahahahahaha you caught me... I thought to myself I can't be seen to be making grammatical mistakes in this post! hahahahaha Well done mate for spotting it.. hats off to you!
A drunk tourist bites a panda and the pandas are crazy? I say go pandas! They're like that Kombi with the 993 Turbo engine - all cute and cuddly on the outside, but if you annoy them *bam* legs gone
Gallardo Superleggera in launch grey a Barbagallo's - just been dropped off and covered in dust. Not sure on the grey but the carbon engine cover and the wheels are just fantastic!
This one? http://img89.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc00032vy6.jpg I didnt take the pic! Someone just sent it too me.
Didn't have plates on it when I saw it - and it was clean and in the showroom when I picked up my car and still there yesterday evening.
Spotted a gunmetal Gallardo Superleggera a few hours ago on Chapel St! Awesome sound, attracted quite a bit of attention too. Someone was test driving it from Lambo Melbourne down the road. Speaking of the dealership, there was black Versace Murcielago there (perhaps the same one previously discussed in this thread?). Someone told me there was a red Diablo Roadster on the street out the front (I presume Sam Newman's old SV) earlier today. Also on Chapel, a blue Diablo VT. A few onlookers, people taking photos of girlfriends in front of it (this time I wasn't the only person taking shots!). Front/side view Profile view - check out how close the car behind it is! Rear/side view
Timeless looks, Miura, Countach, Diablo... the only Diablo Model that excites me would be the VT6.0, SE30 and a 99 Roadster. Any Countach. and any pearl white LP640 Roadster.... droolllllllll
The Diablo's been seen around Melbourne a few times, ex-Sam Newman car: http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-4471.html http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-4025.html http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-4024.html
Beautifull yellow pearl Gallardo pulled up in my driveway a couple of hours ago. Recently purchased by the owner of the yellow 355 spider TAXRIP that has been seen often in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs. Absolutely fabulous looking car. Images to come after the next visit.
They look even better that 430s IMO, more aggressive and better lines. And you don't see them as often (NB: not an admission that Ferraris are common, just that Lambos are seen less frequently)
