Here are some snippets from the understandably controversial chat, in which Chapman—a Hawaii-based bail bondsman by trade—discusses the repercussions of using the N-word with his son, whose girlfriend, Monique Shinnery, is black:

Personally I don't think that "Dog" means any harm and his concern for using the "n" word is a possible end to his career, not out of hatred for blacks. Well guess what, he uses the "n" word and now a possible end to his career. Regardless, he F'd up big time as a celeb and supposed role model.

Oh god w.e everyone says it. If you take offense you to it get over yourself. No harm can come from a word unless its/they are used in very personal ways.

Older people who grew up "back in the day" heard that language and like every other living thing on the planet, worked it into life.

I'm sure he doesn't mean any harm, it was just how he was raised and at that time/ place, it was accepted talk.

I think after that "era" of people are over, then you'll just have the *******s using that word. And of course rappers trying to make their millions off of the word.

I, for one amongst many, am glad, as I'll never have to see this ugly-ass bunch of White Trash when flipping channels, or during commercials.

 

I have always wondered how this trash-can ever caught anybody with more than a second grade education.

For example, wouldn't you kind of try to push a "low-profile look" if you were really going undercover to find somebody that the cops could not?

 

Try it sometime in public and you'll find out how harmless it is.

Latest development: The TV producers have announced that they are suspending the bounty hunter show until a full investigation can be done.

As a bounty hunter the guy is very good. A bounty hunter isn't exactly going to be your model citizen no matter how much he thumps the bible. I've always found the more someone uses the bible the more you have to keep an eye on them. Seems like everyone is out to get the Dog. The guy is cunning and a survivor. One of the first things he did was get a call in to Sharpton

Regardless of what you think about him should he lose everything because a private conversation was unknowingly recorded and released to the public ?

Has no one on this thread ever said anything in PRIVATE that would hurt their reputation if released to the public ? No words of anger ? EVER ?

Im not a racist...I dont use the "N" word but I believe its his right to use it in private if he so desires. If he had used it on the show then fine.. run him into the ground. But his private life should stay private.

Or maybe the kid's girlfriend. I would probably have dropped a dime on him, too - maybe the issue was more about telling the kid who to pick for his girlfriend rather than what race she was?

BTW - if "everyone is out to get the Dog" then maybe it is because he sets himself up for it by being such a cartoon.

 

Yep.... everyone says it right??? I mean I don't personally, but there are alot of mexican dudes in my part of town and I hear them all saying it all the friggin time, trying to be "Hawd" (thats "hard" for all you white folk). N-this and N-that... I saw a fight with a bunch of mexican dudes at an apartment complex. Literally about 15 mexican dudes going at it. Totally honest here, all I could hear, literally, was niga niga, *fist smacking noise*, niga niga, *fist smacking noise*, niga niga, *fist smacking noise*, niga niga, *fist smacking noise*, niga niga, *fist smacking noise*... seriousely!!! it was aa friggin joke listening to all them fight and not a one of them was a black person, lol!!! Of course I'm not trying to be racist against mexican people, it just so happens that that was the case, but I really do hear the mexican thugs saying just as much as any other black thug you hear rappping on the radio.

Maybe Jesse Jackson and/or Al Sharpton can get Michael Vick to handle this.... After all, Vick has a great reputation when it comes to taking care of a dog...

If you're a celeb you have to be extra careful and expect this kind of thing. But your own kid? Who else would have initiated turning in the recording? The only people who can wiretap illegally and get away with it is your government. So I doubt that it was recorded by someone else.

Ok...The word has no meaning to black obviously. Why would blacks use the "worst racial slur known to them" in place of 'bro', 'dude', 'buddy' etc. You see what I mean.
