+1...My wife says spaghetti will do that to you after a short period of intesive intake...no wonder the kid is getting warmer...besides, he loves the italian weather... :)

...Ive seen Jean Todt encouraging him to smile and celebrate...he´s coaching him into a warmer hero.... Andreas will hate me for saying that. ;)

but i can't help to notice, Kimi really appreciates Ferrari. he said that in the post interview in Brazil. he said they're a family, not like a team. i gotta respect Schumi a lot for turning them into what they are today.

Agreed, what I've saying all season and getting flamed. Ferrari is not like any other F1 race team, more like a Hendrick operation.

What family is that, the Sopranos? They have disgruntled employees sabotaging the team and power struggles between Team Principal and Fiat CEO, let alone a long, long, long history of Machiavellian plots and organizational disarray.

Ferrari is a race team just like all the rest, with all the same problems and squabbles. Save the romanticizing for Oprah.

    no family is perfect. ;)

and thats just one disgrunted employee. what i was saying was, Kimi never looked this happy during his 5? years at Mclaren. he seemed to instantly clicked in Ferrari.

Ted, no romanticizing at all. Ferrari is a very different operation than the other teams thanks to Michael Schumacher. It is more closely knit than the other teams except maybe Super Aguri. But then they are out there just having fun.

Like any family, when one of the siblings gets passed over for a position given to another, they can rebel thinking they deserved the honour. Stephany does not change the way Ferrari is run. It just shows it is a family the way the team pulled together mid season despite the wind tunnel, despite Stephney, despite a chassis that didn't work well at many circuits. Ferrari is considered one of the most employee friendly employers in Europe, and that philosophy flows to the race team.

I don't think its just an Italian thing. I think its just because it is the majic of the name Ferrari even to its employees. That's why we are on FChat, and why it is so popular even with non-Ferrari fans. I don't hear much about McLarenChat, or AudiChat. or PorscheChat, etc. No other sports team has the equivilent world wide of "tifosi", a name that used to mean simply "sports fan" in Italy, but now, it is reserved for Ferrari fans world wide.

Ferrari is different. Scuderia Ferrari, for now anyway, is like a family. Even with its black sheep.

And I do believe we will all see Kimi Raikkonen showing a much different side to his personality from now on because he is now part of a family. Something he never experienced before.

    This nonsense again...

Go find a post of mine where I say I won't support Ferrari any longer if they sign <insert name here>, you won't because it doesn't exist. However I can find many, many such posts by other self-proclaimed Tifoso.
