10TACLE STUDIOS and Blimey! Games Announce Next-Gen Racing Title Based on New License.​

10TACLE STUDIOS' London branch, Blimey! Games, has started development on a next-gen racing title, utilising the official Ferrari license.​

10TACLE STUDIOS AG have signed a license agreement for the development of video games with Ferrari, a world leader in automotive excellence. The concept and realisation will be done by 10T's London studio, Blimey! Games. The team who employs many of the talents behind the award winning games “GTR - FIA GT Racing Game”, “GT Legends” and the current racing reference “GTR 2 – FIA GT Racing Game” is now working on this all-new title focusing exclusively on Ferrari's finest automobiles throughout history.

Those screenshots are un-f'en-believable, I WANT THIS GAME.

 

MUST HAVE!!!! Wow man, am I dreaming? This game will be a godsend to me!

Judging from the other racing games that have come out with, this one will be on the PC only. No XBOX360 or PS3.

Awesome.. they produce some great games.

I would love it if they could also have some of the older cars in there.

just been blasting around monaco in the 312T4 in rFactor (racing simulator)... the sound is just so wicked

 

The fact that they got the Ferrari license is 1 year old, but the screenshots are new.. WOW! Best thing about it is that Blimey/10tacle are hardcore sim racers, the physics and everything will be the best you can get. No "let's buy a license and make a cheap game around it" stuff, I'm sure this will be a new benchmark for sim racing realism.

 

IIRC, the game will feature dozens of cars from the fifties up to today...

 

I sure hope it is available on systems!

 

i give up rFactor 2 yrs ago ..due to a somewhat old gfx card ..i should update, but then again i should get a PS3 as well ..choices,choices

 

There should be Fxx and F50 gt

 

my gfx card is nothing special. you dont need one that is too flashy to run rfactor smoothly, and you can get a decent one very cheap these days... DO IT!! the sounds are just too sexual

 

Time to get a new PC.... I WANT THIS GAME!!!

Right now, obviously PC. However, there might be a PS3 & X360 version later on.

 

As far as I know, the graphic engine for the Ferrari sim will be completely new. The M3 Challenge engine is the one from GTR2.

 

Even the M3 Challenge game is "dumbed down" and not close to GTR2 with all the eye candy turned up.

Cool beans! I am glad it will be a PC game. Hate the Klutzy UI in PS2/XBOX.

 

Yep. Just from looking at the screenshots above, it's obvious that 10tacle is making sure its graphics evolve with the physics like they should.

 

GT Legends is spectacular, IMHO.

This upcoming "Ferrari Challenge" will be undoubtedly worth the wait!

 

Looks awesome. I played GTR2 a lot.

I just hope the damage model is more realistic than todays games. I can't stand racing games in that area. You should be able to absolutely demolish a car just as if it was real. I hate seeing a car hitting a wall at 100MPH...it just pops the hood/facia, bends a wheel, and has some crappy smoke/fire effects. I WANT EXPLOSIONS AND CARNAGE!
