Well here we go again. Did the engine out service 3 months ago. Replaced all hoses and did the water pump.

There is still a small coolant leak occurring. Initially I remembered that I forgot to tighten the heat exhchanger gasket so I did this.

But still coolant leaking from somewhere. When you look everywhere in the car you can only see it around the heat exhanger area and not water pump.

I have had the car on the track 3 times since the engine out service and no major issues with temperature or big coolant leaks coming out.

Just a very slight leak occurring and not always to.

Can anyone let me know what else I can do to find where it is coming from??

Perhaps get the cooling system pressurized with a tester to check for the leak mate. :):)

I have done that but it does not show clearly where it is coming from.

It is one of those mysteries!!

    Hi,

If you're really puzzled one can purchase a bottle of fluorescent cooling system dye, pour into system, run the car, and then inspect with a black light.

    Best,

Have you had a look at the hose in between the throttle bodies/intakes? It feeds the crossover to the heads. That can be over looked sometimes. Also have a look at the thermostat hosing, it's only held down with three nuts.
