Our crappy Leafs team isn't worth the effort anymore. I'd drive 5 hours to Ottawa to watch a good team like the Senators..... people from Montreal have been doing it for years!!! LOL
What we need to do is form a picket line in front of the ACC and not let anyone in, maybe then they will get the hint (LMAO), otherwise it looks like we have to wait through another painful year miss the playoffs by a point and MAYBE they will clean house.
So the Leafs win 8-1......I don't understand, they lose constantly, then get a "spanking" by the coaches and media, then come back and bully the next team into submission. These highs and lows are what makes the fans sick and tired of it all!
lol... you're joking right?....you can't get leaf tickets unless you know someone whose got them...or you get them off a ticket broker/scalper and pay through the nose for them....this isn't Vancouver
There are only between 1700-1800 tickets left for regular games and most (if not all) are already sold.
You couldn't get me to a game if my life depended on it. They'd have to win a Stanley Cup before I'd consider buying season's tickets again. So it I can rest assured that it won't be in my lifetime.
I was a leaf fan untill they turfed Tiger Williams in around 1980. I knew that the leafs would never go anywhere as long as Ballard owned them. Then when he passed and Stavro took over I got back on the wagon. With Gilmour there they played their best hockey in years and things were looking good. Then Stavro realized that he did not have to spend money to make money as people would come to the MLG to see a game even if sheep wore the leaf jersey. So he turfed Gilmour and some others and we were back to the Ballard days. Bad news again for leaf fans but it did not stop there. The teachers pension fund is now the majority owner and calls the shots. They dont care if the leafs ever win the cup. Thier concern is the bottom line and right now maple leaf sports is bringing in the best profits in the NHL. Why change anything. The leafs tried to make some changes for the better but the teachers pension shut them down. What it all boils down to is if you want the leafs to win the cup some day then we had better stop supporting them now or all we will see is the same old same old. Spending anytime down at the ACC watching a leaf game is a waste of time and money and will only prolong the pain.

why are you guys keeping this thread alive with this crap ? pick up a new hobby, and leave them alone...it aint worth the effort ! Overpaid pre Madonnas, the whole lot of them from Management/Ownership right down to the bucket boy.
