Time for me to look for a new SUV.
I've narrowed it down to these three. I'm looking for some opinions. Thanks.

Not to be rude or anything, but I think there are a couple other threads that are of the same/similar question.

No offense taken. I did a quick look previous to wrinting up the thread, and didn't find a direct comparison.
There seems to be lots of support for the Porsche.

When these vehicles go out of warranty they are expensive to repair, especially the Porsche, that is why I asked if you were buying or leasing....

Do you need a third row? If so then out of the 3 the 56 is your only choice....

I did drive an FX35 and liked it lots....never drove the Porsche...but you know you want the Porsche, don't you???:)

Stay away from the Infinity QX56. I've not cared for it. Don't get me wrong their service department and communication skills are good but the truck has many faults.
First - to turn up or down the a/c you have to manually keep turning it up perhaps 8 or 9 clicks to a proper setting. Same true w/ the temperature
Second - it doesn't ride well on the highway when hitting bumps at a slight angle, the truck kinda hops
Third - it has blind spots
Fourth - the radio controls are useless
Fifth - trying to figure out how to fold down the back seats requires a Masters
Sixth - rain from the roof pours into the drivers window and therefore into the cabin and onto the window controls

.....do I need to go on?

On the other side just bought an 07 suburban Ltz and love everything about it.

    Thanks you all.
qx56 is out. Previous mentioned faults as well as poor fuel economy have caused me to narrow my search to the fx35/45 and cayenne.

I have a Tahoe and love it; buddy of mine owns junkyards and takes cars/trucks apart everyday; bottomline-he'll only use Chevy trucks as his work truck and as his personal driver. Great Trucks!!!

The Cayenne is the king of luxury SUV's.......I've sold several to people who have left the vehicles you are comparing it to.

I had a 98 BMW 750il some years ago and the 07 Sub LTZ equates to the same creature comforts. If you want to kick it up obviously you go to Escallade but w/ kids it is impractical.
Range Rover is an option. Personally they look much more attractive coming off a short lease.

Had a 04 CTT nothing but trouble (and I have owned 39 other Porsches), FX45 is nice but not really great going through the deep stuff, and you will probably need to buy winter tires maybe even rims, had to do that with my CTT. I have a Range Rover now, nothing stops it, but I have seen the specs on the new Lexus LX480, I'd wait for that.

I had an FX35 for a year and LOVED it. I recommended a couple to my clients and they love theirs as well.

I've put about 2500 miles on different Cayennes....and HATED them. Not as comfortable, nowhere near as reliable, controls are a pain in the butt to use, etc. For instance, you have to go into two submenus just to change the radio from FM to AM.

Also, the FX35 actually HAS resale value, unlike the Cayenne. And it's much more fun to drive. GET THE FX!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMO, qx56 should be out. Not even the same type of SUV as the other two.
As for the other two, depends on if the Cayenne is the base 6-cyliner or the 8-cyliner Cayenne S. If it's the V6, then definitely the FX35. FXs are a blast to drive and have about the best sounding exhausts of any SUV out there. If it's a Cayenne S (or of course anything higher) then that's a tougher choice, but then should also throw the FX45 in the mix to be fair.
In other words for a very fun daily-driver SUV, I cast for the FX35 .
