Very nice! I saw mine at Ferrari French Quarter Classic in New Orleans. My photos are from the track event at the nearby No Problem Raceway.

Some people actually just like to look at the cars and not perform an intel operation. :)

But why they are faszinated by this kind of car? Yes, its very special - but this beeing "special" gives the car an identity, documented by the VIN. Only looking at them is booooooring - as we have tons of photos on this thread to look at. Enough for "only looking"!

    Ciao!

In hindsight, yes I wish I had a pic of VIN for the MC-12 and the two Enzos because I know there are many on this board that enjoy such details and I want to contribute as much as I can. Regardless, I will not allow this oversight to take away anything from the experience of seeing such cars.

    Jasen,

    Nice Pix!

    To all,

Below is a bigger version of the MC-12 donut pic I posted earlier. Can anyone name the celebrity driver responsible for darn near shredding the right rear tire?

hint: driver is considered a "celebrity" to folks on this board but the general public couldn't care less.

I am sure I will get flamed for this, but i have yet to see a pic of one that makes me go "wow!" I hope to see one in the flesh sometime soon to change my mind.

"Beautiful" is not a word that comes to mind but when I see such a car I also consider the odds of being around such a rarity. IIRC, there are roughly 50 "street" versions so probably less than 10 in USA. While not pretty it is an impressive piece of machinery.

Folks on this forum are far more knowledge than me and will likely point us to threads with specific car counts.

I guess it's where I live but I've seen so many of these that it's just not that rare to me. I'm very close to Classic Coach in NJ so I've seen many of them go through there. I finally got a ride in one this year and it's unbelievably civilized. It's also quite impressive and large in the flesh but then I think it looks terrific in photos as well. It's a big car. Think XJ220. Well probably not that big but it gives you a similar impression.

I was very fortunate to see be in this picture on post 55 and see this car in person. Before that Saturday morning, I had seen the pics of the car but always thought it was Mas's attempt for an Enzo wanna-be. But seeing the car in person changed all that. It is not a car, rather a work of art. The detail in the craftmanship can only be appreciated when physically being up close and next to it. The lines, fit, and smooth texture are similar to other Italian works of art. I understand that only a couple are in the States, and even then it is not legal in the State of Calif; how it was in Irvine is another post.
