She refuses to drive my car again. She had her car on sunday!!!! My car is now safely home and away from her destructing hands!

regardless,the run was amazing and the pictures definitely show it. cant wait for the next one... i think ill be going to the turkey run next weekend.

Hi.........yeah that was MY car.......I broke his the week before, lol - weak ass second rate parts, haha

Easy misconception on most people's part since we attend most events together

Next week HE will be driving HIS car and I'll be the one taking the photos at the Turkey Run........you can't miss us, I'll be the cute blonde and he'll be the bald dude with the big freakin lump on his head

 

ahhh sorry about that. it was my first meet as i just moved back here and was just going off what other people were saying... so your the cute blonde that i saw at the meet.... nice... haha. the way you were driving when he was out the window, i thought you were trying to ditch barry along the way...

anyway, on a more serious note, how'd you break his car? from what ive read so far, its been discussed several times so you dont have to clutter up the forum. i was just curious.

 

Don't be sorry.........we find much humor in it and trust me, if I wanted to ditch him he'd BE ditched! Ask him who the better driver is, hahaha

The rocker arm in his car was defective and when I downshifted at a high rate of speed, the rocker arm snapped in two up near the bolt.......she's all better now!

well im glad that you guys find humor in it.
if you two were married, i just figured either barry's going to fly out the window, or hes going to get knocked out by one of the side barriers / cars and what a weird story it would be on the news.

and i dont even know what barry drives so i cant really even imagine what your talking about lol. "high rate of speed"....very military. =)

 

Whats to clear up???? We were on a Corvette Fall Foilage run and I decided to ride ***** that day. She was driving my RED VETTE and after an hour of fun on the highway, we heard the distinct sound of Metal slapping against Metal. It wasnt pretty to say the least. The car was towed directly to the Infamous Vette Doctors Performance of Amityville NY, where that Monday they cracked open the engine and discovered a Hardened Rocker Arm sitting there in TWO pieces. The car was fixed and home by Weds night, thanks to the work of VDP and the Valet Service of Redhotvette(AKA: Debbi(no e)).

As for clearing up who is the better driver. I can lie. She will out drive me any day of the week!!!!!!!!! She is an accomplished driver who I am more then confident in her ability as I hang out the window snapping pictures. She has also spent the past year attendding Lime Rock Raceway and Watkins Glen International where she has participated in numerous events. She has currently moved up the ranks from Beginner to Advanced Intermediate. ( I have video to prove it!!!)

We should be present at the Turkey Run, please come on over and say hello!!!!!!!

definitely looking forward to it. the pictures definitely came out nice. im still trying to find out which ones i want... ive just been busy here at good ol monmouth...

last summer though ive been looking into limerock but i just returned from my deployment from the big desert; so all i really wanted to do was spend time with family and friends... it wasnt to far and i know the PCA had a rally up there too but just didnt have the time. =(. definitely looking forward to it this summer.

and ill be sure to drop by and say hello. haha, i didnt know anyone there and just stuck with the s2k group that i met up with in jersey since ive known them for 20 mins longer haha. thinking im prob going solo again for this one.

 

what branch of service are you in? That explains the "very military" statement, lol

haha. in the army now. did you serve or are you still serving? im actually in the process of going green to gold and going from enlisted to becoming an officer...
stuck at West Point right now though. i can tell why they say this school is so hard... its filled with dumb regulations. =P.

while i was enlisted though, i just did the grunt work and stayed in the Infantry. i gotta say, i didnt mind it most of the time.

and im definitely looking forward to meeting you as well. if barry gets on your nerves, your more than welcome to hop in my car. =)
at the same time, with your track time, your prob hella lot better at driving than i am lol. damn humvee's....

 

lol, nah......dated a guy in the Army - 1st Sgt a couple years back so the lingo is pretty familiar to me. I have a deep appreciation for anyone in uniform, be it military or the boys in blue. Sounds like you're becoming quite accomplished - best of luck with it and thank you! Looking forward to meeting you also.....

Thanks for the offer to car hop, haha - Barry gets on my nerves as I'm sure I do his........but always in a good way - We do a lot of joking back and forth but I gotta say he's really the best friend I could ask for and his wife is the BEST!! We certainly keep each other on our toes when we drive.......you should see us when we each drive our own cars together!!
