We will be offering some special FChat pricing on this product and we are also willing to do a group discount for them as well if several people are interested.

Special F-Chat pricing will be $700 for 1 car, if we get 3 cars to have it done, the price will be $650, and 7 cars and above the price will be $600. These prices include installation as well.

This pricing also INCLUDES Lamborghini Gallardo, and Murcielagos and in order to qualify the cars do not have to be only ferraris or only lambos.

We also have this product available for a number of different cars, so if you would like it on your other vehicles as well.

    Marc,

I think you are mistaken- we have been an fchat sponsor for several months now as noted below my username where it says "sponsor".

Guys, help me understand your pricing. The Proline Styling web sites quotes MSRP prices (which means that the price includes the retailer mark up profit for the product alone) for most cars at less than $300. For Ferrari's they quote about $440 (must be the Ferrari premium because the windshield area for a Ferrari can't be any bigger than for a Cadillac Escalade which is priced at $278). Add to this labor. Based on your quotes above, it appears to me that there is about a $250 to $400 charge for installation (ignoring for the moment the afore mentioned Ferrari premium for the Skin of about $140). How long does it take to install, 1 hour or so?

No offense intended, but the installed price seems a bit steep to me, particularly given that the video states: "installation is easy using the methods and tools you are already familiar with" which presumably means that an experienced window tint installer should be able to do it. Perhaps you can help me understand the pricing on this. I am interested on installing this this on 2 or 3 cars but that much of a mark up seems unreasonable to me unless I am mistunderstanding something.

    Thanks.
    Alberto

Thats great, I'm glad to see that. Sorry I miss it. I just don't think posting ad's on a forum is OK. I've been is the business for twenty five years and let my customers do the talking Good or Bad.

Alberto. No offense taken. The Proline website is still under construction from what I was told and the pricing is not accurate yet. The reason for the price increase on the ferraris is not so much the surface area that has to be covered with the skin, but rather that the product for Ferraris will be made at a much lesser production rate than, for instance, an escalade. This is also relative to other Ferrari models. As you can see on their site, they have all Ferraris listed at $442 when the Enzo product is actually more expensive for the same production related reasons.

We recently became a major distributor for the Windshield skin. We would also be more than happy to offer a discounted rate for you if you were to do more than one car.

The installation costs break down to $150 for installation which includes removing the windshield wipers on the Ferrari.

Feel free to shoot me an email at [email protected] if you have any other questions and I will be able to respond a bit quicker.

That's consistent with what our local San Diego installer quoted FOC members at a recent gathering.

We have had very good results with this product even through testing it in more harsh conditions by using a center punch and with a display unit that uses a slingshot to fire ball bearings at a windshield protected with it.

The difference between this product and what Premiere was offering from what I could gather from the link you posted is that this is form fitted to the windshield and is already cut to the size and contour needed for each individual car to ensure that it fits perfect. There is no cutting of the film needed for installation whatsoever.

Are just a disgruntled customer, or what?

You dig up a thread that's more than a year old just to take a poke and a jab at one of the site sponsors, and to post your rant on Yelp?

    Seriously?
