Gorgeous color but why is it so rare? I would think that more people would order this instead of colors like lime green.

Would love to see it on a Roadster

I do like that color, it's pretty close to the color of my Vette :).

Who knows. Maybe the $7,000 tag for it turns them away....

Lamborghini Chicago just sold a Monterrey Blue LP roadster, Boardwalk might be sitting on this one for awhile.....I was told they are asking $405k:eek::eek: Maybe someone with more money then sense will come along sooner or later but asking a premium when other dealers selling back of msrp is a bit ludicrous imo....Who knows maybe msrp would buy the car if it were on the table.

Very nice color...but would really like to see Hera Blue again. At least this one doesn't have the fuzzy steering wheel.

Lambo of Houston has a Roadster that color but with a light interior and it does not have the same effect. I have had a Orange 03, a black 03 , orange 06 rdstr and 05 balloon white rdstr, and my brother has a Mont. Blue 05 coupe and it still looks great after a 1/1/2 years , I seemed to get bored with the orange and yellow cars after a while. But the met. blue cars with the black wheels works really well.

I noticed that Americans like this colour much more then Europeans, I wonder why is that so !?

Not that I ever saw, was on their site with no pics and sold upon arrival....I would have loved to seen it myself, should have had Nuccio snap some pics for me but did'nt think about it.

That is not an LP and I agree for some reason that car is unappealing. LoCh originally had it and offered it to me for $305k then Marshall Goldman picked it up who in return sold it to LoH several months ago....I think one problem is they are asking $320k for a $290k> car, I hope LoH makes some changes soon because I would hate to see Houston lose a Lambo dealer for the third time.

I think it's because Americans tend to like tdifferent colors from the usual. I still know a lot of folks though who would only be set on a yellow or black Murcielago though.

If this is the same one that was at LoD, I believe that car was sold and picked up a couple weeks ago. A buddy of mine got a ride in it. I guess it's his Uncle's friend here in Dallas. From what my buddy said, he paid $382 for it. I guess he traded in a 430 Spider and a Maserati Q. My facts may be wrong as I'm a couple links down the communication chain.

Is LoH not doing well? They seem to move inventory at a decent rate. I'm not sure if they are just selling to other dealers though.

Depends on who you ask, I just know personally of to many horror stories from customers about the sales guys. They have been sitting on the same Verde Ithaca Gallardo coupe and 2 Verde Ithaca Gallardo Spyders for way to long. I am sure that someone has tried to buy the cars after all this time but they probably killed the sales by playing numbers games like they have a reputation of doing. I like all the guys up there but when I was told "I won't sell this car at that price because I will only make $2k" my respect level dropped. I have no dealings up there since the new sales director Andy Powers came in but I know 3 guys that were not impressed with his actions after they bought their cars(I will let them chime in with their own stories if the want)..The service department on the other hand is great and Richard is a class act all around:)

It is the one from LoD, $382k($8k premium)is a good number so it could be true, I know for a fact they were asking $405k hoping to ass rape someone who would just cut a check without any due diligence....Congratulations to the new owner, try and get word to him about joining the forum;)

I don't know the guy (nor have I met him) personally or I would tell him about the site. My buddy is one of my classmates at SMU. His uncle/Boss is good friends with the new owner of the car. A couple weeks ago we had class on a Tuesday night and my buddy Nick sits next to me and sends me a link to LoD's website saying he got a ride in the car over the weekend. I looked at him in disgust as said "What, you lost my number of something"! He said he would call next time he is around the car and hook up a friend! If that day comes to fruition, I'll be sure to have a camera handy!

    Dear Lamborghinisti,

Ya know, I just don't " get it " for the monterey blue.

I drive a Monterery blue Diablo roadster and it's a nice color, but when I have it parked next to my Ferrari, I just love the red.

I know it's " The color " for a roadster, but I guess I'm just a RED guy at heart. ....ha ha, get it, get it?

    Funny thing:

I was giving out candy at halloween from the garage, behind the Lamborghini and Ferrari. All the boys loved the "red" and all the girls went right for the blue. Not everyone knew which was the Ferrari or Lamborghini, but it was a pretty amazing observation. Not one girl went for the red...honestly. I hope their grown-up sisters feel the same way. :)
