I may have broken the code for painting Ferrari kits without spending hours polishing. The stuff is called Zero Paint and you can find it at Hiroboy. (To avoid getting in bad with the powers that be, I won't put the website up so just google it.) They sell Ferrari base coat paints and it looks to be dead on for accurate. I ordered several colors and did some test patterns. The Rossa Corsa, both old and new, look good to my eye. The Rossa Barchetta looks absolutely right on. Paint goes on VERY easy with an airbrush, almost impossible to make it run. But it does go on flat. Now here is the really cool part. You can order either the lacquer clear or the 2 part clear coat system and get a really nice wet look. It has an unreal wet look and requires very minimal polishing required after painting. I used a little blue magic and my test shots just glowed afterward. Price is a little spendy, but not to bad.

Happy modeling and build more F-cars!
