Really? Wow. Has been a while since last time I checked. Maybe I should look into a Norwood version then...

Unfortunately for those of us who don't own one, yes.

How's it going Andreas? Beautiful sunny day here today, taken the day off work to stretch the legs of the 328 along the shores of the Bodensee.

Beautiful weather here as well. Golden leaves on the trees and sunshine. Doing my monthly maintenance driving with the 308 along the shores of the Michigansee. :)

    Its own tube chassis.

They do offer them for the Corvettes but keep in mind this is a UK company so they rarely get Vipers over their.

Its not bad for a bouget build, id build one with a 3.8Turbo :D.

I will disregard the first thing you said.

Why would anyone want to replicate a Viper?

The company is a UK, my guess is that folks out their in the UK must have a tough time getting there hands on real Viper almost like the exotics here in the states. Also I don't think you can get the rockbottom prices of a used Viper over their like you could over here in the states where you pay 39k get a used GTS with less than 40kmiles on it they just don't come like that over there.

Back in the day when the Viper was new to the public there was as many Viper replicas running around as there was Lamborghini, most of them where based on Talons, Fbodys and Corvettes but as time progressed and Vipers started droping in value where even middle class income could get one now adays theirs no need to replicate them now. Just go over to a dodge dealership, tell them what you want and they will locate one for you somewhere in the states.

I wouldn't want a real Viper, let alone a replica.

As Clarkson calls it, driving a Viper is like having a beer with an axe murderer. You never know when he's gonna kill you.

    I didn't tell you guys about the 100k go cart haven't I? :D

Back when Narec was around, you would pay nearly 40k for the complete tubechassis with the running gear and everything, 20-30+ in the body alone, 5k interior, yeah if you built it yourself and if your very skilled you can have it for less than 76k or more if you keep it cheap. But if you buy it as a turnkey then it becomes the 100k go cart I was talking about.

Most of the time you'll be spending more on labor than the car itself. :p

    Huh!? are you serious?

those cars are amzing especially if you want power out of them. As for Clarkson, well Alcohal and cars doesn't mix sometimes.

Easy there. Clarkson is a god to me. Did you see "The good, the bad, the ugly"? A DVD about American cars. Not much good said in it. Except for the GT. Wish he had tested the Saleem.

Clarkson is bigger than God to my boy and the one US car I would dearly love is the Saleen S7, it's got a reasonable race history already against venerable company

Clarkson is a drunk duck with a TV show that talks about cars, some of his views are acturate but others I question.

that's really funny coming from someone whose views seem to be questioned by pretty much everyone else here.

(still trying to figure out what "acturate" means though???)

when you start commenting on things with real world experience rather than playground speak then maybe the people here will start respecting what you have to say.

perhaps a little bit more time spent learning comprehension and a little less time spent here would be a start.

    "oxymoron" WTF???

Sadly it has turned that way. I tired to put the fireout and get the train going down the right tracks but these guys not only feel that they have to win a pointless arguement but they have to dominate it since they can't do it in life.
