    After much research I have finally arrived at the rarest 355 street car option....lol

    Some hints:

    1. It was never offered on Spyders.

    2. A variant of this was standard on the late model limited production 348 "unique" series.

    3. It was not even standard equipment on the limited production Fiorano series.

    4. It cost lots and lots of money..lol

    Can't be that because there are alot of 355 with factory CF seats..

    YES YES YES....you got it right.

    Rarest of the rare....the 355CF sport seats are VERY VERY unique....it is different than the 348CF...and is different than the CF sport seat offered in the 550/575,360, and 360CS.

    FYI, the 355CF Sport Seat was offered not only in leather, but Alcantera also.

    Would anyone like to post some pics so the rest of us can drool???

    Robbie....do you have the actual numbers from the registry???

    When you say "lots" you have to keep in mind that this is still the rarest option from a very limited option list.

    I thought I had entered more cars than that, but I only have 9 entered with factory carbon fiber seats---out of about a third of the total cars produced----seems like you nailed it for sure with that as the rarest option!!!

    The rarest option I have seen is the factory carbon fiber interior. I have only seen one and it was a 99 355GTS F1.

    I would bet most Challenge grlls were bought after the car sold new and that option was rarely used----just no way of ever checking unless you had the build sheet for all the cars

    I would think the challenge grill would have been rare also. Was it even offered as factory installed piece I always thought they were dealer installed

    I remember this caught my attention while in Argentina when the 355 was still in production, I saw 2 355GTB's at the dealership in Buenos Aires both with CF seats, I had never seen them on any 355.

    I've heard stories about a very, very limited amount of Carbon Fiber GTS roofs being produced. Anyone out there know anything about this?

    Love those carbon seats!!! Someday may go for the 360 carbon (those do fit, correct?)

    It seems like the factory pressed in side shields were pretty rare (on non-Fiorano cars). Only on some '99's I think?

    That is def. not as rare. I have seen quite a few with factory shields. I believe the option started in 98..
