These are from the reproduction run circa 1998. 9 years old and properly stored. The factory has some from this set on SV 5092 and I know Balboni pushes it.

BTW, in California, where am I going? Ill be lucky if I ever see 100mph. Remember too if one wants to push a car very hard throught the corners or drive in the track, there are other cars. Dont worry, Im not entering the Miura in the Le Mans Classic. Just going for a coffee with my wife on Sunday :)

    Heaven forbid!

Have you heard the one about Dean Martin driving his Miura down Sunset Boulevard with a cigar in one hand, a drink in the other, and a starlet in the passenger seat guiding the wheel? Mind you this was in the Swinging Sixties...

I was waiting patiently to see if any of you guys noticed I headlined the word Miura with the wrong spelling. Oh well...

Thanks. I purchased it affixed to another car some years ago, and when that car left the plate stayed for my SV.

BTW my young son is in the car with his foot on the brake! He could just about reach it. "Dad, do you think one day I can drive this to school?" LOL.

I have implemented a solution to this problem for 1021. Lights work great, as good or better than a modern car !! It involves some non original but easilly hidden wiring, relays and fuses. I am no longer afraid of the dark in my Miura. Don't leave home without it.

You better give him the "talk" before letting him drive it to school. You've witnessed how the ladies look at men in Miuras ;).

If we want to get technical, I probably fill mine up about a half-a-dozen times plus go through about the same number of 5-gallon drums of C12 racing fuel mixed in...
