    There's numerous towers in Italy that are leaning more than Pisa. It's just that Pisa has been the tourist hot spot for decades upon decades. I particularly remember a church tower double the height of the Pisa tower leaning much more, on one of the islands off Venice. Borneo, I believe. Could have been Murano also. It's 10 years since I lived in Italy....

    I thought German engineering was supposed to be so much more precise than Italian!
