My name is Nick. Been around a long time just pokin' around and drooling over some Italian beauty, but figured it probably be more fun if I got involved and posted, too. I am currently a die-hard enthusiast who definitely aspires to ownership someday. Just so you know:
1. I know how to use the search function!
2. I won't ask you owners how much you paid for your exotics.
3. I won't ask you what you do for a living or how you got your money or whatever.
4. I will be friendly and respectable and not ruin threads with asinine comments, remarks, or insults.

I like your rules, but just know that what makes this forum interesting (other than the great automobiles we all celebrate) is the people who don't hold said rules in as high regard as yourself.

You'll see what I mean.


And you will also find yourself writing another rule within about two weeks:

#6: I will neglect all of my duties that constitute a normally functioning human being and do absolutely nothing but spend time on Ferrarichat.

Also, don't mistake my personal guidelines to mean I'll be totally boring goody-goody. I can be as fiesty and controversial as anyone and I do enjoy making fun of people if they're acting like a moron. Primarily, I just make it a point not to be a negative instigator. Other than that, I'm just another guy. Ego, quasi-narcisissm, and sense of humor fully intact!

Do you own a deuce? I had a 1995 Dark Emerald Pearl(talk about rare!) MR2 Turbo. Damn, I miss that car. Had only 40K on the clock when I sold her in '05. Damn fatherhood!

I have owned 4 MR2's and drove nothing else for 21yr's. I sold my '92 turbo 2yr's ago it had a fully built engine with a T66 turbo, external wg and all the goodie's.
Yah I miss it ALOT!

To be honest I'm not working right now. I spent many years as an administrator for a frozen food business that supplies meals to almost all the airlines. Then I became very ill early this year and as a sort of indirect result, lost my job. Lost a LOT of things. Anyways, I'm not gonna bore you with some piss poor sob-story. That's life and life sure as hell ain't about getting knocked down and then wallowing in your own crapulence. It's about picking yourself up, dusting yourself off and getting right back out there.

Also, I have some headhunters doing some looking for me and it looks like things will be on an upswing in the very near future. It's all about patience.

Last time I was there was before the fire. Did they ever rebuild?

 

Actually, I live in the Bristol Pointe subdivision, probably less than 1/2 mile from the Rockwell. My fiancee had her baby shower there.
