there are adds from reventon buyers selling it on the net (true or false adds ) they are asking more than sticker price the real question is what the collector that want to own some rare exclusive machine would do: spend over 1M in this reventon or would he go for some other options: what i could buy for less than a 1.2 M euro? a Veyron or an Enzo a Zonda F or a vintage group buy : F40 + Se30 + S countach + miura P400 ?? hard to answer this question
+1 (i said something along these lines in one of the other threads a while back) you could have a "normal" LP640 plus a couple of classics (which arent likely to go down in price)
That particular Honda predates the Reventon by 10 years. Also these news about buyers already selling their cars says a lot about the buyers IMO, that they didn't think it through and that were buying to merely speculate
It's more the quick-buck crowd when you think about it. They were never interested in the car, they just wanted to make some cash quick. I'm happy that they are losing money. Buy a car because you like it, don't buy it to sell it to another guy 3 seconds later-
I thought pretty highly of you, but this post is a bit unprofessional. Not that you care what my opinion is...
I understand. But I disagree. When youre particularly targeted by someone, you should first present the facts, then stick up for yourself. Thats exactly what I did. Note that at least one person agrees with me... Im sure there are others. Joe www.joesackey.com
im sure there are a few others who agree too nah seriously, whats been missed here is that certain ppl seem to find "joe bashing" a bit of a hobby. Five is one of those people, and tbh got what he deserved in the reply.
I can`t agree more about Joe`s thoughts about this something called Reventon! I am in touch with high profile collectors due to my business with classic Maserati racing- and 50ies-GT-cars. The price tag for an A6G-2000 Zagato starts with 1.0 Million Euros - maximum is 4.5 Million Euros for a 450S. I have some customers who have also Miura SV, LP 400 and some of them own the Gallardo and/or Murcielago - NONE of this very serious collectors would buy this silly Reventon which is -IMO - a car for those Hip-Hop-chaps with tons of gold hanging around their necks! A Factory pimp-me-up-car for those.....! Ciao! Walter
is that a bad thing ? you guys hate the car because It didn't had to age 40 years to reach the million mark status therefore IT doesn't need brokers around ... just leave REVENTON alone .. and mind your own bu$ine$$
rhetorical yes ? ive never brokered a supercar deal in my life - so that reason doesnt work for me (or likely 99% of the forum) im sorry are you 5 yrs old ?
I'm starting to love the Reventon! It doesn't look as bad as I thought it was.. especially when the first photos came out.
lol...i swear i knew you had linked that! that is pretty funny. i think the 40 yr and $1mm comment comes comparing the miura finally making the grade. i think it would be tragic to even park that reventon pig next to sculpture like the miura.
I just found the brother/sister of the Reventon at Sema, btw a single engine has more hp than the reventon... The headlights are cool, also the sticker on the front. Image Unavailable, Please Login
