    It's time again for our annual Holiday party. I picked Saturday, December 8th and the Outback Steakhouse at 8101 W Higgins Rd. Like previous years, we'll start in the late afternoon.

    We'll have the calendars for those who don't want them sent home and a few awards:

    - FOC's Gumball Trohpy 07 for most events attended
    - FOC's Maintenance award for the top three folks who paid the most for maintenance over 2007. Bring your bills for verification.

    Please post on here if you're interested so we get a headcount for the restaurant.

    I'm open to attend, I'll check with my lady to determine if we can make it. Just curious, no interest in going back to an Italian place to celebrate, like last year?

    If it is open for suggestions . . . . . Villa Verone's in Geneva is a great little Italian place - very authentic. The owner or someone there shows up with is 512 on occasion. I can check for availability if there is interest. Just a thought - not trying to change gears or ruffle feathers.

    Otherwise, Outback would certainly work.

    Is this Outback in Schaumburg? Also, has a specific time been set? We need to line up the dog sitter - yes you read that right - dog sitter. Damn things are more spoiled than . . . . . . . me!

    No, the other Outback, right off the Kennedy (South of the O'Hare exit), nearby the Hooters. I have to check their hours, but it'll be earlyish as in fiveish (I'll post the exact time as we get closer). Old men like me need a lot of bed rest...Seriously you can stay of course as long as you want (and Billiam has proven that) and some folks might like an early get away to hit another party as there is only a finite number of Saturday Holiday parties in December.

    Love to come and meet everyone, but ofcourse work calls. Being in the food industry and December ususally means no life but thats cool because it makes the major repair fund grow. Send my caleners to my home, please. I need info on the address for the payment?

    You can add myself and Linda to the list also. Would be nice to see some old faces again and meet some new ones...

    Hey Mike, We just got back from Colorado last sunday, we went to Vail and they are hurting, NO SNOW, lifts were closed, only place open was copper, but only had man made stuff which they were saying was crap to ski on. They are suppose to get dumped on this week they are hoping. So, good luck on your trip, hopefully they have snow then....

    Reminder: We'll award the 2007 Gumball trophy to the driver who attended most FOC events. It ain't me (I'm runner up), nor Dave, who came in 3rd. Also we will hand out 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards (nice ones I think) for most maintenance done in 2007. So: Please bring your bills/receipts for parts and labor done on your Ferrari this year and we'll tabulate the (unlucky?) top three. Unfortunately I seem to qualify for this one on an annual basis, but I'm sure somebody with a cracked piston head will beat me handsomely. :)
