I thought I had heard that Nick had dropped out of school. They never said anything about school during the TV shows. You are right about the money. I remember on one of the shows Linda was taking about the need to make some more money. Something was said about George Forman and all his grills and endorsments that he does. Seems Hulk has missed out on that sort of thing.
Hulk was originally approached about being "the guy" for the grill - the Hulk Grill instead of the Foreman Grill. Hulk turned it down. Foreman accepted. And apparently Foreman makes millions off it, and parlayed it into other consumer products, making even more!
Wow...that's funny. Old link and comments about Hulks clearwater house for sale... http://www.luxist.com/2006/06/16/hulk-hogans-florida-house-on-the-market/ And this was a blurb about his Miami house .....The Hogan clan is in the process of moving into a $12 million, 17,000-plus-square-foot home at 2900 North Bay Road on Biscayne Bay, said Miami attorney Neal S. Litman, who represented the family in the deal. Real estate agent Jeri Jenkins, of Coldwell Banker in Miami, closed the deal. "The house is magnificent," Litman said. It has two big structures, a pool near the water and a dock and boat lift for the family's love of water sports. Sightseers can expect to see the 6-foot-7-inch Hulkster in his do-rag cruising through the bay with a camera crew in tow. Developer Todd Michael Glaser bought the acre of land in March 2004 for $2.7 million and demolished the existing home to build a nine-bedroom, 13-bathroom "monster house" designed by Chad Oppenheim, Glaser said. The house features a free-form staircase, 15-foot ceilings, a gym and a racquetball court, he said. The deal closed on May 1 and the family will move in May 10. .
Hulk Hogan sells home to Michael Bay Thursday, August 23 2007, 10:15 BST By Beth Hilton Hulk Hogan has sold his Miami Beach home to Transformers director Michael Bay. The filmmaker snapped up the wrestling legend's 17,339-square-foot property for $18.9 million (£9.8 million). The mansion has six bedrooms in the main house, two guest apartments, a five car garage, a cabana, a pool and a roof-top terrace. Burglars stole more than $100,000 worth of jewellery from the home last week as Hogan - real name Terry Bollea - and his family were moving out. The 54-year-old has relocated to Clearwater, Florida, with his wife Linda and children Brooke and Nicholas.
So they moved into that "new" house in the show, and didn't sell this one when they did? Or was it for sale all along?
Looks like Clearwater house was for sale the entire time for $25 million....but very few people with that kind of money want to live in sleepy clearwater...(Hulk grew-up next door in Tampa...so his heart seems to be in Clearwater) ... house never sold, so after Brook bombed in her singing career in the big city of Miami, they moved back. Bought house in Miami for $12 million in 2005, sold it 2 years later for 18 million.... so not a bad way to pick-up $6 million, and take a 18 month vacation in Miami. Then picks up "Father of the Year Award" looks like a pretty good year, until 4 weeks later when son screws everyting up .
No, they weren't, the "season" was over at the time... And the last I heard, they hadn't decided if they were going to do another.
I hope they do. It's the only reality tv I watch other than Judge Judy and The Peoples Court 'cause Judge Marilyn is HOT.
Not unless he was rinsing his mouth with Listerine while he and John were pinned up against the tree and getting pulled out by the Jaws of Life.
My cousin taught a trick to get out of a breathalyzer test or at least delay it. He got pulled over back in the late 80's & claimed he had asthma & didn't have is prescribed inhaler with him. I've never tried this but I believe most people couldn't get away with a stunt like this now.
It'll be 3 years next month.... my dad now lives in extended care due to brain damage from being in a coma for too long...because of an accident. I don't care who the driver of this particular accident is...a human is a human...and regardless whether the passenger was wearing his seat belt or not has no baring...the police can go ahead and charge John with not wearing a seat belt...but it was the driver of the car that should suffer all consequences The costs to just take care of John as too my father are astronomical...it's not even about making money on the side from some law suit Think now the parents visit a son they no longer know...the son no longer knows the parents and yet there is the bond that keeps you going to visit and to care...I lost my dad...they lost a son... Few accidents the past months... Young man who crashed his sports car driver walked away from the scene relatively unscathed, his passenger was seriously injured. Corvette driver speeding slams into parked car...passenger injured seriously driver walks away Driver of a Nissan car, allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed collided with a Ford SUV that was attempting to turn...passenger from the car was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition It doesn't matter the car...who the driver was...what the passenger was doing or not...the driver caused an accident and should be held accountable...a old station wagon going a high rate of speed will cause the same damage I love speed....but it has it's place...and the city roads/highways are not one of them Prayers for John
New story today in Clearwater.... video turns-up with Nick's mom street racing with the entire HULK family. The 2005 documentary is titled "Vehicular Lunatics". It was filmed at several Florida locations, including Saint Petersburg and Orlando. One "Extra" on the DVD is called "Street Racing With Linda Hogan. At one point, Linda Bollea (Hogan) is seen alongside another car. Linda Bollea is driving a car identified as a Mercedes S600. Her daughter, Brooke is her passenger. Brooke says to the men in the adjacent car, "Wanna race?" One of the men replies, "Yeah! We love racing you! On three." Brooke replies, "Let's do this. Alright." Then Linda Bollea says "Let's kick it." At one point in the documentary, his mother was asked how she feels about street racing. Her answer: "Oh, I love it. I love it. The rush, the speed on the road, stereo blasting, heart-pounding, racing in between all the cars, dodging the cops. It's awesome." I feel the entire family should win this years "Darwin Award" for this one link to story and video http://www.abcactionnews.com/news/local/story.aspx?content_id=c78966c5-7617-41c8-a049-87cc49532f5d .
I'd like to find this video. Definitely entitled to Darwin Award, and the "academy" needs to take back their father of the year award. What next, Hulk gets busted for deailing 'roids?
Was this a private home video or was this commercially produced? If it was something they did for sale I would think they will claim it was scripted.
Looks like it was a commercially produced DVD with artwork and everything..."Vehicular Lunatics" News story showed the Producer dropping the DVD into the machine (you could see artwork) and showed the clip to the laywer. You can see clip if you play the video clip http://www.abcactionnews.com/mediacenter/[email protected]&navCatId=3 Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've seen the video and it's definitely NOT scripted. These guys in an Evo roll up next to the S600 and lose to it from a stoplight.
QUOTE OF THE DAY So in case you were wondering what kind of parents the Hogans are, here is your answer. They have been irresponsible every step of the way, engaging in racing themselves, fostering Nick's passion for speed and buying him an expensive car to go with it, and finally (the dirtiest move so far) issuing a statement right after Nick's arrest in which they pointed the finger of blame at their son's gravely injured friend for not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Someone should put all that family in jail. Can they arrest Brook just for looking trashy? http://news.softpedia.com/news/I-Got-It-From-My-Mamma-Nick-Hogan-039-s-Mother-Caught-On-Tape-Drag-Racing-71361.shtml Image Unavailable, Please Login
I actually think Terry is the grounding force in the family. He always seems to be the one setting limits. Linda comes across like she just wants to be one of the kids.

Think Linda's looking a bit trashier that her daughter in that pic. But yea, that's a stupid thing to say. I do agree, at least from what I've seen on the show. Probably why they seem to be having marriage problems. Seems he's constantly losing an uphill battle, to get the family under control. He's says not to do something and they turn around and do it. Unfortunately, that's what we see of him on tv. People are not always as they appear. I'd like to think I'm wrong.
Yah I remember Nick from the Supra Forum's, nice kid, make's me glad I sold my SC300 2JZGTE/T78 swap. I got tired of having minivan's and 4-door Accord's wanting to race me, I could not just have a peaceful sunday drive.
You know, I don't think the show is a true representation of reality, but it does show social behaviors that would be difficult to mask. Truthfully, I expected Terry to be a lot more like his persona "Hulk Hogan". What I appear to see in Terry, is someone who didn't always have it easy. He understands the hard work it takes to succeed and he realizes with his injuries that he needs to be conservative. It looks like he tries to instill these values into his children, but that is easier said than done, sometimes........ Father of the year, maybe not..... But, father trying to do his best.... That's what I see.....
