Challenge Stradale Register

Will someone please PM me if you have any info on 139030? I'm trying to find out if the car is still located where it was and if it's still for sale. I can't access the registry.

Bob, did you buy this car from Ferrari Beverly Hills back in February, 2005, when it had just 91 miles...? If so, how many miles does it have now...?

 

I guess what I was saying is this: Many here beleive that if you don't use a car regularly - the car will suffer and may even age prematurely. What I was trying to unsuccessfully say was that my low-mileage example did not have any negative symptoms resulting from its low mileage.....

Hi Everybody,

Hope you'll pardon the intrusion. I'm the technical editor for 0-60 magazine (www.0-60mag.com), a new car magazine focused on performance cars from the 1970s to today. In each issue, we have a feature chronicling one of the top 60 performance cars since the 70s and in the next issue, we would like to feature a 360 Challenge Stradale.

We'd like to photograph a stock or close-to-stock Stradale in yellow, red, silver, or blue. The photo shoot can take place anywhere in North America - we'll send our photographer. It will be static photos only - that is, there is no need to drive the car.

Given the approaching holidays, we'd like to do this in the next three weeks or so, but we're happy to accomodate your schedule.

I'm just watching the market right now. Prices seem to be ranging from $185K to $225 which is a HUGE spread. It seems that a large percentage of the few cars currently on the market have had aftermarket ad-ons installed (Stereo, Navigation, Wheels) or no maintenance history - which is worth $5K to me.

Once I see an unmolested car (original down to the tires) and documented maintenance - I'll pull the trigger.

You're worried about wheels ? As long as the OEM wheels are available, shouldn't be a problem.

Won't be much service history on a 3 year old car, especially with less than 5k miles.

(can you turn me on to those you're passing on )

If the aftermarket modifications can be removed and the car placed back to complete "stock"..........that shouldn't be too much of an issue. But I do agree.........."there are few cars currently on the market"...............and complete maintenance documentation and history is a MUST.

Christian, just as an aside, the proper name is "Challenge Stradale", not "360 Challenge Stradale". I, and I'm sure most other motor enthusiasts, wince at the sometimes gross misnaming publications bestow upon cars and, subsequently, those publications lose credibility with the readers.

I just re-bought my old 2004 rosso corsa CS; no stripe (it does have one now); blk calipers (now red, invoice reads "RED" calipers), full leather, red upper, blk lower dashboard and full red SW; stereo and roll bar. NA spec but 1 of 4 mexican market cars (km, centigrate Climate control and as mentioned, roll bar)
