Recognize this is an absolute shot in the dark but it doesn't hurt to ask. I've got an '03 F360 Modena sitting in VA aching to get home to Dallas. For reasons beyond his control, Gary Almond had to cancel his pickup of my car today so I'm looking to see if anybody knows anybody/anything about a truck or open trailer heading in that direction .... VA to TX this weekend.

$100 for any leads that pan out.

    Thanks as Always

    NO OPEN TRAILER.

    BAD, VERY BAD.

Think normal road grime X 1000.

your car will never be the same.

Better to wait, than go open.

what's done is done.... :( car is covered in a clear bra from head to toe that i was planning on having removed (i just can't stand those things) so we'll see how much of it is salvagable after letting DetailWerkz here in Dallas do their thing. They've done miraculous jobs on my other Ferrari's and porsches so I cannot doubt this won't be the same. I told them they should line all of my cars up for a shoot for advertisement's purpose but they're soo good word of mouth keeps them too busy as-is

Bra should at least mitigate the problem.

And, if the weather is nice on route, then less of a problem. Rain, snow, sleet, road salt, raod grime, gravel, etc, all are potential hazards.

Also best to be on top of the truck, not on the lower deck.

I'll say a little prayer to the automotive gods tonight for your car, should be okay under the circumstances.

thanks all for the concerns, offers, suggestions amd PMs......it's up to Hussein now (the driver) and God of course ;) I'll be sure to post pics upon arrival - hopefully with a driver receiving a fat tip rather than a smackdown. until then...

car arrived that Saturday in excellent condition and freshly detailed. because of transport issues, it went via open trailer but you couldn't tell - not even any bug debris. because of that, the driver earned a healthy tip. nevertheless, the car has been a blast.....and that Tubi is mind-numbing. i don't get to drive it during the week as i like to keep a low profile(especially at work) but obviously not on Fchat where it's semi-anonymous ;) but these past two weekends.....let's just say there have been some extra long grocery store runs. Saturday I dropped it off at Norwoods for it's first major and a head-to-toe tune up. i've also picked up some 430 wheels and will hopefully add a carbon fiber CS steering wheel and just a couple of CF pieces for the interior but nothing too flashy. thinking about CF airbox lids and some sort of rear diffuser - trying to read as much as I can about those.

ps - your old car is tucked away in Midland, TX at our new home. i had a blast driving it 5hrs to get there from Dallas. such a timeless design....thanks yet again for making it what it is today!
