Very well said. It would be a shame to have one, let alone 9 of these beautiful cars sitting in warehouse colecting dust and never getting driven.

Want to race???(just kidding) I put the Porsche(stock boost) thru its' paces at one of the major race tracks and then jumped into a Mercedes ML63(before mods).......better lap times in the ML(1.8sec), soooo I bought it....cheaper too. Now I'm just waiting for someone to come up with an SUV race series....lol

BTW, a few little shadetree mechanic tweaks here and there and I was rewarded with approx. 10% hp increase(556hp at the flywheel).....RennTech lowering module is a must along with removing the speed limiter so I can get them groceries home faster so the Ice Cream doesn't melt.

Hopefully the model situation will be sorted soon. The offer from the Royal Family was a serious one but as I've said she's not nor will be for sale.

I very much admire the fact that the P4/5 gets driven :)........... I think I have watched every youtube video on it...... as well as printed out a host pictures for my personal f-car scrapbook....

I wonder if there will be a DVD or movie made chronicling the P4/5's conception, developement, refinements and track activities?? That would definately be something for history/discovery channel...... ;) :D!!! ........................anyone...... :)??

Great idea! I'll offer to drive her around town to add a first hand comparison between a mere mortal 355 and the larger than life P4/5 to the DVD! :D

And I agree, I have a huge admiration for any Ferrari that's driven on days that don't begin with an 'S'.

    Seriously, though.

Jim, did you happen to film any of the development process? With your experience in movies it would make for a very interesting documentary: a look inside how a great design firm like Pininfarina operates, not to mention how they built your car. I'm quite sure everyone on the forum would buy one.

OTOH, how many months will you have her in the garage?? You can't be looking forward to that...It's why I won't live up north. I remember when I went to Chicago for the US/Brazil game a few months ago that almost all of the cars had some kind of rust on them. It must not bother you too much, though. I've heard you talk about your old Testarossa...:)
