Is the flat black prancing horse on the front grill factory, or did someone paint it flat black???

I just noticed that the rear horse is flat black too...

Previously in an accident? Not interested.... not because of the accident, but because I already have one...a good one... with tan interior...and it's paid for....

You can see some overspray on the rear undercarriage (maybe from the crash repair). Interior looks a little tired but it still seems like a pretty decent price. The stock rear horse is flat black, not sure about the front stock color.

Early 348's (maybe up to '92) had the black horse only on the rear. There was no horse originally on the front grill until '92 or '93 i think. And then the front horse is smaller than the rear.

And yes, it looks like the whole muffler has overspray. Maybe a reflection?

    BINGO!

Car sold at Manheim Auto Auction in Manheim PA on 10/4/07 for $35,000. It was sold in the green lane meaning "Above Average". Normally a wrecked car will sell in the yellow lane at Manheim so I am assuming something wasn't disclosed.

    Imagine that.

That car is no more likely to have only 28,000 miles than I am to have a monkey fly out of my ass this afternoon.

Unless it was so damaged in that accident that it can only go a few hundred miles a year before it needs another major service. ;)

But, I did see a monkey fly by in the high winds today...

    Whats the tip off?

    Its sooo shiney...especially inside :).

Just about every efrrari I have ever seen has less than 30,000 miles...go figure.

I think if someone is claiming their car has 4000 miles, everything inside better look as new.

But differentiating a true 5000 miles vs 15,000 is tough. And there really isn't any way to differentiate 15,000 vs 40,000...

Maybe looking at the brake rotor wear, is somewhat objective...

Wear on the pedals, tough to read. What kind of shoes did people have? Barefoot?

General appearance? Well, where was the car - up north where everything corrodes if you drive in the rain, or down south where the gods seem to bless every car?

I did see one TR when I was looking, at a dealer (LFSC), with 13,000 advertised miles. The seats were worn through. The paint was buffed through. The brake rotors had lips...etc. It looked like 100,000 miles to me. I pointed out to the sales guy that it looked like a much higher mileage, and he politely nodded, "It certainly does." What else could he say...

Someone here on fchat bought it 2 years ago, they were taking it to california and planning a repaint. Wonder what happened to it?
