Dark blue Bentley CGT at Turtle Creek and Blackburn this morning around 9. And a beautiful cream Phantom behind Park Place Porche.
THey were getting ready for the Import Faceoff show at Ennis for sure. I met up with the Black R33 last night and called another R32 GTS and we ate and cruised. The Blue R34 is owned by kind of a sketchy guy (he has his good days and bad days). All in all the R33 has potential and a good owner, the R34 is torn up. They are both pretty much at stock power. The Black one is slower than the Blue one for the time being. They both are too scared to break something by running their cars so they just went and did the car show.
Black 360 headed west on Trinity Mills at North Dallas Tollway. He turned off into the parking lot on the right just after Addison Rd/St/Dr/Ave. edit: oh yeah, it was about 8am this morning.
Was at the boat club friday and noticed a blue (i think) Quatroporte passing on Lawther. I've also been seeing a DeLorean dressed as the Back to the Future car rolling around Deep Ellum.
There's a Delorean (I think for sale) somewhere on Inwood north of Belt Line I believe. I passed by it and some other cars Friday night as I was driving to Carsons. I think it was between Keller Springs and Belt Line, but not for certain. It doesn't have the Back to the Future stuff on it though.
Its for sale @ Bent Tree Sales on Addison Road (Same road as Inwood, different name). I saw it myself going home Saturday night.
Today (around noon) my wife and I (in separate cars) saw a red and I mean RED late model Maserati Gransport coupe on Old Bullard & Rice Rd. He was behind me and later beside my wife in her QX56 when she called to tell me about it. I'm impressed with how corrupted I have been able to get her into cars. I think she wants an AM V8 Conv. for Christmas now Kinda ruins the whole "I get a Ferrari first" thing
A couple of weeks ago, I had to blink a few times to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing. An Ariel Atom in Arlington! Intersection of Brown Blvd and Ballpark way I think. Not a Ferrari, and a bit late in posting, but I thought an Ariel Atom spotted in the wild is worth mentioning.
I've seen him in Dallas as well, also have seen a red early 60's Jaguar E-Type around White Rock Lake, on the Arboritum side.
I stopped by there to check it out. They are asking around 55 for it. There is also a nice silver NSX next to it for the same price. I would not be too faithful in Bent Tree, though. There was very noticible overspray inside the wheel well and the salesman said it was the black chipping off of the liner. Claims there has never been a repaint...Doesn't sound right to me...
