Those are ugly. If they dumped the hatchback look the car would actually look pretty decent. Either way it is a cool spot.

I'm not really a fan. It's too dumpy looking.

Very Cool spot, I wouldn't read too much into the looks as it is so disquised as this point.

It would not seem to be very hard to improve upon it, though...got to not make yourself too high a mark at the start.

Ferdinand must be spinning in the grave.

Not a bad looking car if they can redesign that hatch back end.

"Ferdinand must be spinning in the grave."

I dunno there have not really been too many great looking porches and the 356 was an upside down bathtub. The cars look to be 4 door 911esque with a cayenne style front end. The most intersting picture is the one with someone standing by the open door. Based on the available scale this is a big car with a built up cockpit styled to look smaller and sleeker than it is. I wonder if porche have not just made the cayenne in to a slightly lower sleeker type of car. A 928 it aint. I thinkg how the 928 stylwise is still such a contemporary design.

Interesting market, we have mercedes with the cls and bmw with the x6 and porche apparently in between. Lots of choices for the 80-100k style/sporty looking 4 door crowd.

Great piucs though an awesome scoop, well done.

If a 356 was an "upside down bathtub" then this is an upside down fiberglass walk-in shower stall.

But you are right about one thing - a 928 it is not. But, of course then - neither was the AMC pacer.

    Great find!!!

Not crazy about the initial looks or profile. Some people thought the Cayenne was also ugly but they've seemed to sell well for Porsche.

Really cool spot for what will be a historical car for the Porsche brand.

In my opinion you can pretty much tell how they are styling this car; the camo is not very effective.

It is a shame to see Porsche straying from their sports cars and going into SUV and 4-dr sedan type categories. What's next? A Porsche wagon?

Great find.... although the car looks like the bastard child of a 911 and a Cayenne

Great spot! Your friend was lucky to get so many close-up shots, when my Dad snapped a BMW mule in Italy this summer, the driver nearly killed him :p

Anyway, the cars are VERY ugly... first the Cayenne, now these, Porsche should focus on sportscars... although this new sedan (called "Panamera") will surely be a great success from a financial point of view.

    Thanks for this post.

As a huge Porsche fan and owner, it seems they have laid another turd. They haven't built a car I have "had" to have since 1998. How about a new design team, Stuttgart?

Great spot, but what a hideous rear end on that car. Starts out fine enough but that hatch area is revolting.

So far I hate it and its not even complete.

Porsche should sick with sportscars and not even attempt to build a sedan.
