    I have a Toshiba laptop with Vista and maybe i install to it the Ubuntu...did any of you already made this...?

    What do i need to do...? I heard that i need to cut the hard disk in halves...one part for Vista, the other for the Ubuntu...

    Any help will be appreciated...

    i have it on my ibook but i never use it, you will need to partition your hard drive, you will need to find software and i cant recommend any since i have gone all mac

    I've installed it but.. SURPRISE.. there are no linux compatible drivers for my wireless router :(

    Its an older USB Wireless-G adapter, if anyone has a solution I'd love to read it.


    As far as installing it goes, theres a beta app for XP called Wubi that allows you to test a dual-boot setup without having to use a separate partitioning software. If they have released a Vista version that might be the way to go.
