Has anyone ever changed out there carpet on a 348?

    Is it a major job?

I have a black and tan interior where the carpet is tan as well. The tan carpet shows wear and sunfade. I was thinking about replacing the carpet, and changing to a black color. I have seen this combimation on a few 348/355's and it always looks good.

    Anyone recommend a source?

    Thanks
    Steve

No biggie. Just order replacement set. I got mine at Wilton, I think. Wool, like stock. Fitment can be a bit challenging, however. I let my mechanic do it and even they did not get it perfect. Personally, I replaced tan with tan (crema interior), but swapped out for black carpet mats versus tan. The look is so much better.

So your saying just swap out the mats? Have a pic of your interior?

    Texas of course!
Where is the best place to get the carpet set? Could not find any so just made my own with wool carpet, went from tan to black as well.

So far the only kit that I saw an actual price was at Ghhl @ $2250!

So it would be nice to find something a little cheaper. I'll give them a call and see what they have to say.

got enough wilton wool for the job for about $600, and $200 worth of work if you need help on the trimming and cutting. $2200 for carpet, I'll pass :)
