Look for it in the records books:

    2007: Winner: The lawyers.

The way FIA has been trying to micromanage the season to "keep it entertaining", I'd almost expect to see the 2008 starting grid consisting of Stallone, Alan Rickman, Billy Crystal, etc.

I'm half expecting to see suspiciously timed electronic failures from the "spec" ECUs next year.
    (2008: "Inherit the Windows" ;))

FIA pretty well killed off WRC, and it looks like they're doing the same to F1.

Speed Channel may have been onto something when they were replaying ten year old F1 races.

The depressing part was Ferrari opposing the break-away series. F1 shouldn't be Ferrari's end-all and be-all, considering that they made their name in sportscar racing, not in micromanaged open wheel events.

The very sad (maybe) is that Ferrari end up winning and dominating what?

The FIA with their help fuelled the lawyer craziness and effectively they are going to end up the all concuring team of NOTHING!

I'm pretty sure Enzo would be extremely pissed with Ferrari and FIA management. It is better to loose and look like a winner than win looking like a coward. Ferrari IMO built up this racing is our life attitude NOT actually from winning and dominating, but from consistently entering no matter how well they did or not. They stuck it out and proved that 100% racing is in their blood.

Modern management of Ferrari think that winning at all costs is what it is all about, they are wrong.

I Think they should just give the championship to WInkelhopf (spelling?) of Spyker, that would cap off a crazy season!

    Howdy boys,
I havn't been on the racing forum pretty much since the end of the season. I will admit I have not read this thread, but I can't help to ask why does it even exist. The McCheaters appeal was thrown out. The best guy won both on and off the track and our team won regardless of Fias decision.
I say let's just wait 'till next year and see what else the big wigs have for us in store.
Meanwhile wear your red with pride and stop worrying what would have been if Kennedy was wearing a helmet.....

If you had read the whole thread (as well as many others) you would recognise that this is a thread full of Mcappologist rubbing each others backs and exchanging soothers :). Nothing went their way and they have nothing else to talk about. I love it.

Ummmmmm because if you had started at the beginning you would've discovered that the thread was started well BEFORE the day of the appeal.........
