    Steve,

I believe I have seen that car when MCI took delivery of it. As I recall it is a nice example. The folks at Motorcars are great. They are very reputable and really stand behind what they sell. I have bought a lot of cars from them and have never been dissapointed. Talk to Randy McCall. I live fairly close so feel free to contact me if any questions.

I bought a nice lotus from them. But, the second car (a diablo) was wrecked and they tried to hide the history. It cost me a $15,000 loss. They didn't even try to compensate me in any way, shape, or form. Nothing. My sales person was Randy McCall on both sales. Remember, no matter how good they seem...they are still car salesmen.

I am assuming that you are telling this to me in public so that you look like you tried to resolve things. The truth is that when I did talk to Motorcars International, they told more lies to cover up the accident history and they made no attempt to make me a happy customer. A potential customer here wants our opinions. This is my personal experience and it will remain the same until MCI goes out of their way to make my experience better. NO, I am not asking for my $15,000 loss back.

I sent you an email today about my experience. I want my future conversations from MotorCars International to be in writing and personal.

This is a public forum for discussion. According to HIPPA confidentiality laws, my name and financial information are not public information. So, I hope that my personal information is not made public by Motorcars International.

    Steve,
I think you will find the vast majority of people will support MCI. It is one of the few places people will purchase a car from sight unseen.

Bonedoc, you obvoiusly have an axe to grind. That is unfortunate. I agree, it would be nice if you tried to take care of your issue privately, but it seems that you are the one that keeps bringing this out in the public eye. BTW, HIPPA only applies to health care encounters.

You continue to make your personal business public information, you seem to think you have the right to slander Mr. McCall and Motorcars, and if Motorcars responds they are violating your privacy?

It would seem you have given up any right to privacy regarding this issue. I believe your comments are simply slander. In my opinion, you have no conception of honesty and you clearly are not a person of honor or integrity or you would tell ALL the facts...

There are far too many people that have done business with Mr. McCall that know he is incapable of doing anything other than what is right and fair and honest.

I have never purchased a car from Mr. McCall, but I have several friends that have and I have known him for years, I have the utmost trust and admiration of Mr. McCall and I always will.

I don't know about all that...

Steve (original Poster) I have always been treated fair and professionally by MCI. I would trust them and buy from them. In my experience, even though I didn't buy from them(they didn't have exactly what I was looking for, but they did offer to look for me), they were always very cordial, forthwith and I would give tham a chance at my business again in the future. Always do your own homework no matter where you buy a new/preowned car. Also carfaxes are not exactly right, nor do they always represent the car accurately. Rely on a good PPI.

Come on out to MO and visit the Showme state and stop in on them.

Actually Chris, me telling a TRUE EXPERIENCE is not SLANDER. And, if someone tried to accuse me of lying, I have written proof of the cover up. As far as privacy, I have NEVER told anyone who I am. I have NEVER told anyone what money I have spent and where. Disclosing this information IS ILLEGAL. I am the CLIENT.

I dont care how many people have had a good experience or not. This was MY experience, not yours. Someone asked a question. I truthfully responded.

You have known MCI for years, according to you. You know "ALL the facts" that "I am omitting". It sounds like you have heard one side of the story. Hmmm....

I am wondering who you are in bed with. As a business person in the exotic world, it never pays to get an attitude with someone on a public forum. You should be glad that things I hear from Kansas car owners have not made it on the board yet. I am not going to say anything, because it was not my business.

I am not sure what the problem is here. You are the one that keeps throwing dollar amounts around concerning this issue and I fail to see where any personal information has been "disclosed" of any import but by you. Also, remember you are only telling YOUR side of the story and making the accusations. This doesn't necessarily make it "the truth". It is also disturbing that you are always right there anytime MCI or Mr McCall's names come up after all this time. Your motivation seems to be more than passing along information.

Again, this is your side of the story - doesn't mean it is the truth.

I do not see where Chris, or anyone else for that matter, claims to know all the facts. You just come out at any mention of MCI and claim to have been treated unfairly, but have never presented any of your "facts". There are always two sides to any story and generally, the truth tends to lie somewhere in between. This is from someone who is not in the buisness and is not in bed with anyone.

    SGMDCFD, sorry for the hijack.

    Steve

I do not have any more insight in to this than what I have read on here, "I am not in bed with anyone" and Randy McCall has NEVER discussed this with me, but it is clear to me that there is more to this story than what you are presenting, I just feel as though your are not disclosing all the facts, (I never said I knew all of the facts, I don't pretend to), perhaps I am wrong and you are being truthful, but no one can tell without all of the facts.

It is interesting that you are trying to make me look bad just because I was offering my thoughts... As for the shop that works on my Ferrari's, I believe they do excellent work and I have never heard of any complaints.

I do not know you, I don't know your name, I don't know what cars you have or where you live, you could be the nicest guy in the world, but on here, your comments seem one sided... It seems as though Mr. McCall has offered you an opportunity to discuss this, have you taken him up on his offer?

I did not offer my opinion as a someone in the business, I do not feel as though I am "in the business" although I am an investor, I offered my comments as a friend of Randy McCall...

I don't know why I am not allowed to offer my comments.

I hope you can get this resolved....

Hey guys, It does not really matter who says what. You are you and I am me. It makes no sense for me to tell anyone about a bad experience that I had if nothing ever happened. I really have better things to do than to waste time talking about things that never happened. Randy has emailed me and is being very sincere. I think he is proving that he means good and wants to be the best in his business. We will see...

Who knows, I am only a couple hours away from your shop chris. I just may be up there getting the lambo serviced someday. Are you all open on the weekends at all for oil changes and simple things? Do you take bad customers? Ha ha.

You are not a bad customer... I am sorry if I said things but I was defending a friend, I suspect you would do the same thing if the situation was reversed.

Come up to KC, lunch or dinner is on me. We just completed a Lambo that is really realy a nice car now...

Again, sorry if I was out of line...

Out of all the things I have read in this thread, this is the most disturbing. Steve, let me know if I can prescribe some medication for you.

btw, if I do, I'll be sure not to violate any HIPPA laws ; )

I have 3, and they are all brand new, never been in the water. They are fun but dangerous! I am selling one of them on ebay right now. It is a red 89.

I would do it, but if the front ski snagged a wave, you would be lanched over the handle bars and run over by it. Reason #265 they dint make them anymore. If you are a good rider, you wont have trouble. They are more difficult than a stand up jetski.
