If you can get a good picture of the engine, wheels and interior I'm sure you can prove to the people here that it is real or fake. And maybe protect you from buying a false F40.

well about the F40's in saudi actully there are quite a few, but most saudi owners have them abroad, in swizerland, france and so on + demo im quitesure that this is a real f40, cuz were not the advance to have a fake one already!! do you think??

Its been 4 days and there is still no S/N, this is rediculous! Demo you are killing us all by making us wait like this!

 

It's stories like this that make me wonder why there are no shows on SPEED channel or Discovery Channel about historical cars which have been abandoned and neglected.

They have "Antiques Roadshow", why not something similar with cars?

The simple answer is ratings, probably. I'm not sure how Antique Roadshow's ratings are, but I'd gather they're fairly high. Motor Week has survived for how many years now?

I just don't think as many people would care as much for a show of this nature. I know people such as yourself, me and the majority of FChat would watch this everyday. We (car guys), just aren't apreciated and typically looked down upon by a large number of people (imo).

With that said, I wish there would be a head of a network or someone whom had the funding to do the searching for barn finds and start documenting it on video. As much as I crave for show after show about car info, I don't want car loving to become watered down with posuers and wannabe's.

Back on topic. Good luck to you Demo, if at all possible get some pics of the interior and engine. Hope to hear good news soon.

I live in monaco & i know where there is a red Enzo that has not moved in about 3 years... its not covered up, the tyres are flat & everybody is writing in the dust i will try & get a piccy for you but its in a sevure garage so its difficult, i also know of a white phantom woth white leather that is the same! here i know of 5 F40's 4 F'50s & 8 other Enzo's for those that have been here you know that this place is crazy!

From looking at the 1st photo, it appears the F40 was moved or atleast the mercedes was moved to take the photo? :S

Any more updates regarding this F40 since the 'weekend trip'; photos, VIN etc?
