I went there this morning and there was nothing there. Too bad... it was an amazing morning. Warm, sunny. A lot different than it has been lately.

I showed up at 9:20 and there was not a single car. I went across the street and drove past the classics they had on display by the mansion, then decided to check it out one more time at about 9:25 and there were 5 cars...it peaked at about 15-20. It wasn't a bad turnout - nice mix of lambos and ferraris. Got a few pics I'll post as soon as I get to them.

It was not a bad turn out. There were at 25 nice cars at the "peak". Most showed up at 10:00AM or later though.

We had a fun drive and lunch after with our map master Lyndon.Saw some old familiar faces and met some new ones as well.
    The weather was perfect!

I thought it was a great turnout. I've been there for the past 4 weeks in a row and yesterday was much better. I think it's the first time I saw more Italian cars than German!

Damn. Guess I was there too early. I remember last year most guys came around 9:30, but there were always at least 4-6 that showed up before 9. I think I got there around 9:20ish, and I saw a blue 3*8 parked outside of the normal parking lot. There's always next week.

Yeah, I was the blue 328 outside the lot. You know a peets pit stop- to lazy to park and walk over. It was a great turnout, even though it was late. I will post pics too.

Figures, the one weekend I miss and the Lambo's show up! :D
Dan: still have your DVD(s). Call me next week; it's a short week but we should hook up so I can return them to you.
Maybe Sat. if you're at SR, however, I'm guessing many will be at the SF Intl. Car Show at the Moscone Center so I won't hold my breath.

    Prancing Horse,

Thanks, again, for the wonderful milk run -- my favorite part was the bunny trail, which was new to all of us drivers. This milk run was also special to me because I got a chance to try out my new exhaust system, which Bryan Shisler of VIP Tuning Pro designed and created from my Ferrari. The sound and the additional HP and torque are amazing, and this milk run was perfect for me to get use to the new improvements to my car. Click here for sound clips: http://www.AlfonsoFaustino.com, and scroll down to VIP Tuning Pro: Bryan Shisler.

Thanks, Prancing Horse for shooting my car on the way home.

    AlexD,

Thanks for shooting us -- I can't wait to check out the pictures.

    FastJon,

I enjoyed meeting you and Carolyn. Your blue 328GTS is really pretty, and I look forward to seeing you in future Milk Runs. Please let me know the status of those inserts.

    Brad,

I don't know your call sign for FChat; and, I don't know if you lurk in this forum. I enjoyed meeting you. Your Pearl White Lamb G Spyder is beautiful, and it sounds wicked on the freeway. Also, it's nice to meet a fellow equestrian -- especially, another jumper! We will go riding and jumping, so let's talk about dates and times -- FinancialMan: I will set up a lesson for you when you come out with Brad and me.

    Hi, FastJon.

Nice shooting! I love the POVs from your car -- especially, the one of the pearl white Lambo G Spyder going down the bunny trail! Thanks to Caroline -- your co-piloti!

A very nice day for a drive last Saturday. Sorry I could not stay for the lunch due to family duty, and could not catch up with the rest going to Bucks
restuarant due to gout on my ankle. Hope to see everybody again. Happy Thanksgiving.

    Hey, Financialman.

Great drive and lunch that Prancing Horse put together -- yes? I had tons of fun! I'm glad you made this event because I love shootin' the sh** with you -- you got me good about you being in first gear -- I owe you one on that one!

Thanks, so much, for the wonderful comments regarding my new exhaust system. I always get worried about changing the exhaust system because you really never know the sound you are going to get until the system is loaded -- Bryan Shisler did an awesome job, and I'm really happy with his work.

Rico Tenni at Valtellina Automobili is working on Madellena right now...he needs to torque her heads, check and adjust her valve clearances, and replace her shifting shaft O-ring going through the engine sump housing, which is causing an oil leak.

Rico had her up on the rack, and I got to see Bryan's exhaust pipe-work -- it's beautiful!

I'm bummed out because the work is going to take about 3 days, so I'm without Madellena. Oh well, such is the life of a Ferrari, but it's sure as hell worth it!

Let me know the date and time you want to hook up for our lunch meeting. Talk, soon.
