Chances of a 1:18 are high

just remember LAMBORGHINI isn't exclusive to any brand...
therefore AutoArt,Maisto and Bburago hold the rights to release any Lamborghini .

at different prices segment I assume

    let's just wait.

You are both correct, there was another thread that indicated that people were willing to take a loss and that is definately not the case, I contacted a broker in the UK and he informed me that there are 2 Reventon's availible but both at a premium!!!!!

Ok, I didn't expect you to understand German, my bad- but there they say that the car will be available for disposal in March 2008. So my point wasnt pictures of car sitting in the dealership, just that Lamborghini offered them one, and that they are selling it for a premium which is almost 1/3 of original price.

I understand German well enough to see that they are speculating. Getting 1/3 more for something that is already overpriced is optimistic. No harm in trying but I don't see a stampede of buyers paying that kind of price.

I am not fan of this car either and I think its well overpriced without ANY premium, but these people are very good at selling all kinds of super exotics. They sold some of most rare cars in the world and 3 Veyrons just this month. I give this Reventon a month and than its gone, there is always a pocket who wants to get empty.

AUTOSALON SINGEN is closely connected with one of the major men at VW. So - no wonder that they get one of this stupid cars! But more significantly: Lamborghini mentioned that all cars had been already sold to collectors. I doubt that very much.............!

    Ciao!

I agree with you Resa, to some people 1 Million Euro is like 1000 USD, so price is not an issue.

...Come to think of it ....
    ...Lamborghini made a mistake ...
they should have released the REVENTON before the LP640

therefore nobody would complain about the small HP upgrade

from the 585HP out of the "regular" Murcielago all the way up to the 650 HP offered in the REVENTON

would be no issue to all of it's detractors.

and after all 20 REVENTON would be sold then offer the LP640 claiming to be a Reventon derivative ...

I agree the timing was horrible but they should have also added more Horse to the Revention, if iam going to pay well over a mil for a car it better put bus lengths ahead of its fastest sibilings.

Hopefully this new Murcielago SV won't be another disapointment.

It would probably be the best Murcielago in the production lineup if lambo doesn't do anything.

The problem I have is you pay over amillion bucks for 10extra horse! that 10 extrahp can easly be done with K&N filter to a stock L/P 640. They should have made it atleast a twin turbo or Supercharged murcielago if they where going to price it so high, make it where if you paid for the best it would perform like the best. I just don't understand paying so much for a car that doesn't perform so well compared with the competition.

The magazines might have all the great things to say about it but what about the personal opinion of the buyer? you really think id have lots of great things to say about this thing which is nothing more than a "fighter jet" bodykit for the LP640 and with a factory K&Nfilter that gives it 10extra hp and it all comes at a price of 1.6mil?.

I could buy my dream garage and fill it with all my dream cars with the price of a single revention, this car has failed to deliver and regardless if I had the money nor what the mags say or even Mr Clarkson says I wouldn't buy it.

What are you going to do or say if they do sell for that much more? I personally try not to make public claim to anything until after it hits the street and fails. Because if it does sell for more you lose credibility in future posts. I personal do not like having egg on my face. So I will wait for it to fail to jump of your band wagon..... :)

I bought both of my previous F's at ASS and never suffered any inconvenience, but I belive you when you say that they might not have the best reputation. First- I am not sure about their service quality after warranty period is over, and the other reason is that they have 157 Ferraris available for sale RIGHT NOW! ,so no wonder they are doing everything to sell those.
