I am a huge wagon/hatchback fan but the new Impreza/WRX/STi just don't do it for me. They are about a bland looking as you can get.

The Silver edition shown in the article is simply terrible. Not a good color for that body.

The black looks slightly better, but I think the Evo X takes the case in this round.

I'm not too fond of the new WRX styling but the performance outstanding.

Why do you want to part with the m5? I always thought an m5 was the perfect daily driver... style, power and room

I have an M5 as well, the Evo is interesting but the M5 has much more class

The Evo is fine if you want something to play rally or track but the M5 is great at speed and sophistication

While I can appreciate what the STI does, I just can't get over the looks of the new model. Saying it's not pretty is being kind.

Having used an e34 M5, e36 M3, e39 M5 and now an e60 M5 as daily drivers for the last 15 years, I'm just ready for a change and both the new EVO X and STI appeal to me...

My brother-in-law just picked up a leftover 07 STI. They are firesaleing them in prep for the new 08s. Car looks great in their dark grey.

While the new EVO looks a lot better, the new EVO is still phryggin ugly.

It is always amazing to me how peoples taste can vary so much ... to me both the new EVO X and STi look great ... so much so that I can't decide which one to get ... the STi interior seems to be nicer, but I love the EVO's exterior a little more... although the hatch look is growing on me little by little and the USA spec car STi will have a 2.5 liter engine giving it more power and torque that the RTW cars... the EVO X MR will have a DCG which is similar to my current M5 SMG which I love in Atlanta traffic ...

The 08 WRX looks like a Mazda 3 Speed. I love it, I like all those hatches, Mazda3, Toyota Matrix, VW, GTI's, etc. etc.
I like them so much I bought an 08 Subaru Impreza outback sport 5 door. Man it's got traction, its like a cat. VDC with traction control.
    Can't wait to go skiing:)

In Europe, the prices are getting slashed on the new STI for up to 4000USD. In Switzerland it will be the same price as a VW R32.

Love the new STI shape. I've always been a hatchback fan.

I hate it atleast there should have been the classic 4door sedan option for those who perfer the prevous looks. I never was a huge fan of the car but man I love the look of the old STi's and now when I see this its like is that the new Tribeca?.

I like the exterior design. That's right, I said it.

Now my beef is the STI's interior design; what the hell happened here?

They might as well have made the STI a 3 door hatch.

I believe the STi hatch design is a result of the FIA homologation requirements that Subaru product a certain number of cars like their WRC entry cars which are 4 door hatch backs.

I for one like the four door hatch. It's quite practical, but I like the look too.
