I was called about it on Tuesday morning. I couldn't believe it when I heard, and then I saw the van on Fox news.
Our family has been praying for his all week.

Is that why you changed your avatar? In case he does go back to LSU? :D

Can LSU's NFL-bound defensive line stop Arkansas's NFL-bound tailback? That will be the difference. (of course, I say that, but the difference will probably be another four 4th-down conversions by the Gambler lol!)

Good luck, should be an exciting game.

Also, I'm pulling for Kentucky over Tennessee to put Georgia in the SEC Championship.

I'll take Tennesse in the championship game. LSU has had a tough enough schedule already. I meant to change the avatar awhile back I just never got around to it. I was wondering where you were yesterday. I thought you were bringing your piggy bank to Saban to try to convince him to stay. Happy Thanksgiving guys.

LSU loses to Arkansas in triple overtime.

    So, who is number 1?

Well at least I don't have to worry about being out of the country when LSU is in the National Championship game.

And Callahan. And Carr. Who's next? Miles? Nutt? Is Fulmer safe if he loses to UK?

What's driving me crazy is that the dice could roll and Ohio State could end up with another unearned shot at the national title. USC too. Both great programs, but there are so many better teams this year that deserve it more than they do, but don't have the big names/media hype/ESPN overload BS.

You are wrong. I bet you this year he is a 3 loss coach if they end up playing GA if they play TN .......well lets not forget what happened in 05 when he blew the halftime lead and was outcoached.

I think you are right. It looks like Ohio State will be there for sure now.

I was sitting in the airport coffee shop in Charleston WV watching it. I didn't think people from WV could get that excited over a football game.

    (my family lives in WV)

    Today's picks:
-- Georgia covers (-4) over Georgia Tech : Richt has the Dawgs hot and have a shot at a BCS bid, not to mention winning the SEC East if Tenn loses to UK.

-- Clemson covers (-3) over South Carolina : Clemson will run all over South Carolina's injured (and poor) rush defense.

-- Missouri (+1) beats Kansas : Mizzou and Chase Daniel will prove that they belong.

I'd also lean towards Florida covering the -14 spread over Florida State.

All they kept saying in the game last week was that he was safe. Hmmmm, Miss State might win the West next year. :)

That's a good move. I don't think Archie has ever coached at any level.

Let's hope NOT. Big 10 football is pretty boring. Remember how bad they were in the championship game last year...and this year's team is probably not as good.

I'm a Buckeye and agree with you. They backed into where they are with a weak schedule. Folded against the only competition of the year, Illinois. Now to possibly go to a Champ game because of the hard fought losses of others. Naw. They belong in the Rose Bowl.
