Oh yeah, and between the 300 photos of fat guys and trees in the way of the cars, I somehow managed to snap off a couple reasonable action shots of the Ferraris... http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6491.html http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6492.html http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6493.html http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6494.html http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6495.html http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6496.html http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6497.html Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
si fi and i brained em again, took an a Gt3 and caught it in two stages, mamouth effort, the 360ch is light at 208kph but its a hoot in the tight stuff, its an invitation to go sideways, the poor bastardo in the Gt3 is pooped at us catching him in a 8 km stage tight and whatever we nailed it in 4.12 and he thinks he is hot, the sight of a 360ch up your clacker must be daunting considering its 1999 technology up against some kraut in 2007 technology, must say these things are very economical though, must be that magnetti marelli system working to a hoot. pic s and vid to come
the set of hands driving the 3 may have something to do with it , not that i am taking anything away from your driving ability.
Didnt get to stick around for much today, but took a few photos before most of the cars got there.... met Goober... only for a short time. good to see the new maserati grantourismo there.... even though its a LHD heres a few pics for ya all.... http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296170a.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296170b.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296170c.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296170d.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296171d.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296171c.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296171b.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296174b.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296174c.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296175d.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296177a.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296177b.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296177c.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296177d.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296178d.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296178c.jpg http://www.*************/pitlane/pics/2356/3296178b.jpg
The showcar that's doing the rounds of all the dealers at the moment. Same spec as I ended up getting with the exception of RHD
seeing it in photos i thought it looked a bit awkward with the long nose... but it actually looks pretty nice in real life. just wish they brought back the boomerags...
They reckon that they DID bring 'em back. The LED rear brake lights come on in the shape of a boomerang. Not quite the same is it? The back end of the car isn't as cohesive as the rest IMO. Still, I am sure I will live happily with mine when it turns up in a month or so.
yeah.. not sure i like the triangle lights... ANYWAY.... what colour? are you here in adelaide for the classic adelaide? if not... are you ever going to bring the F50 over?
Beautifully thanks RB, got the A/C working, fitted the Capristo - sounds nice Have you molested that nurse yet?
Having fun, picked up a couple more places today. Caught up with some of the lads for some wog tucker and drinks....was bloody freezing dining al fresco. Gunna rug up and hit the farter....ready for another day.
As related by Goober, another good effort after I started firing on 2.5 of 12 cylinders. The performance of the car is just staggering, even on my not so fave stage of Hindmarsh Falls (nasty surface, downhill and corners that jump from nowhere, not to mention the splitter splitter of a causeway) Goober did a fairly reasonable time. On a sad note though, Cisco is out of the event in his quite lovely 355 Challenge. Apparently a cambelt tensioner bearing has deteriorated (though fortunately causing no engine damage) making itself noticed as a noise in the motor. The backup vehicle of a 328 is to make an appearance in its place tomorrow.

Haha, those pics exemplify my point! The Evo is like the fat chick you pick up when you're drunk - she does amazing things with you that you can't explain, but you still don't want to be seen with her around your mates.
