who's going for the frinte the R8 cocktail cum dinner???
bro since i left tekong been maintaining but as of last saturday started again my doc told me if i cant do it 1 shot all the weight down.... do it in stages ..... lose maintain....then lose again... keep the cycle going till ur happy then just maintain
You mean as in 34C,24,34? I just had a good review of the Maserati GT. Nice! I like it but no roadtest yet anyway it's won me over don't think I need it unless it's really rough which it shouldn't by now. Should we wait for the 4.7 Duoselect? I'm happy with the build quality, profile, cabin & boot capacity. Good daily + long trips.
Hehe, yeah there is a grey GranTurismo in the city showroom now. Should be there till wed or so; then it leaves for press duties for awhile. Will be back soon tho. So come on by if you're in the area yeah? Cheers....
Sorry... been driving around aimlessly. Good exhaust... more punch at the low end i.e. more torque. Sounds fatter. I need to detune the ECU as it has affected the sound a little. But sound awesome in the tunnel.
Were you there, Kev? I received a call from an "unknown" number and as always, I terminated it, till I realised it might have been you trying to call me. Anyway, the event was quite well attended but very draggy. Cocktails started around 7 but main course wasn't served till after 10, and the car was finally unveiled at about 11!
I vaguely remeber standing outside once at 3am after zouk..and no that puke right outside the entrance was so NOT mine.
no, i am attending tonite's. got spare invite for one, whoever wanna go, call me. i may just attend cocktail and skip dinner.
BT told me that he's just sold his 308 today and bought Tuck's Testa (which like most of our cars is also ex-Lung's)....
But Tuck has put in alot of work into it. Good job too. The testa is a very nice car...esp when cruising at speed. Heavy to do 3 point turns though..hahaha
Arrgh BT was supposed to call me on his 308! Glad for Tuck though, a lot of TLC put into that Testa. But I might just get out of classics altogether. They are just so much trouble! Things just keep breaking down here & there when they're old or when you start to fool around with it. Went to put 3M film on my 911 which I wanted to bring for the Penang trip. I then upgraded the bulbs & realised that those idiots didn't know how to remove the headlamp but they proceeded to meddle with it, swapped my orig. screws then damaged the one & only mounting point. So I'm now left with a "single-eye" porsche & not to mention the aircon unit that keeps going out of action even though it's new. All the precious time wasted on trips to workshops.....oh & that oil leak! Certainly brings back *fond* memories of my old Ferraris too
i claim credit!!!! i suggested to BT when he send out the sms abt the 308. who did he sell the car to? did he actually swap with Tuck??
Woould love to sample the other colours but I might not be in town. But I read that the R8 along with the autoUnion & Lemans car will be moving off from Marriott @ 9am this Sunday down Orchard. Now that I might make it. Would love to see the AU. What do you guys think of the R8?
looks - 7.5/10 drive - dun know built - 9/10 appeal - 8/10 reliability - dun know price - 5/10 rather go for GTR nissan
how's the Larini? btw, sat next to a guy at the R8 dinner who may become your next buyer when u collect yr scuderia
Bro r u sure? a GTR over this.....this is a techincal & electronic tour-de-force, not quite the forte for Italians.
