Gah! Sadly all my mates have awesome cars and I have... well, dung. Every now and then I rub my forehead into my rugs and cry "oh lord won't you buy me something better than a Mercedes Benz, my friends all drive Ferraris, and they have small penises." Or something like that.
that windscreen banner on the 360ch invokes so many enquiries regarding the web site of web sites..............in fact some even commented it was like watching top gear on the net..............................................................................after yesterday i'm glad to be main sponsor of aussie exotics..........and will the stigmeister do it again today............................yup..............gotta buy a new pair of socks............these things stink

Silver and red same as the brochure and LHD demo car. My days of taking the F50 interstate are over I think. I did WA and Canberra, now it's somebody else's turn to wave the flag.
another great day, we reckon (sifi and I) are sitting 3rd outright in our category, the 360CH is running well, the blue ribbon run tomorrow is Clarendon, and we should nail it seeing i drive it every day to work and home. GP is doing well however he reckons his 360ch floats over crest too easily, so now its a big night out, the 430 scuderia launch.......wtf, and casualties today include a car going off nortin summit, thet organisers say it can only be retrieved with a chopper, in total 9 off, 4 in hospital including a gorgeous M3 E30 (green) updates soon from ash with pics funny thing happened, i needed to vote so went to tynte st north adel after the day in the 360ch, the first person to give me a brochure was the greens......................wtf, i'm into petrol, burning fossil fuel...........and i said i dont have any cats on the car............some people are just soooo thick
Dam, no ticket in the letterbox. I'll just paddle out into the river and see it from there. Lots of crashes today - not that I saw any, but there were a lot of loooooong delays between cars, I reckon 4 or so must have crashed just on the stage I was shooting as it was a long time between shots sometimes. :\
Right, I've finally uploaded all the pics from the Prologue, I'll make a page with the best stuff later on, but for now if you feel like browsing at your liesure it's here: ---> http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/thumbnails-176.html Few more random shots from the day (wednesday): http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6558.html http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6563.html http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6567.html http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6580.html http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6581.html Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Oh, pics with "Cush" in the watermark are taken by a mate who was with me and used the camera for a while. http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6670.html http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6674.html http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6675.html http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6682.html Oh yeah, and so he's taking pics of loads of porkers and some japcrap, and I'm like "quick gimme the camera I want to get some shots of the Giacottolo", he's like "I'll snap off a couple for you", and managed to get um, well, this. :\ http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/displayimage-6678.html Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

the Giacottolo is no more, as i approached it i had NO idea what it was until i passed it & turned around & recognised a rim & some yellow paint
f*ck!! omg, are you serious? I was just talking to Adam the other day at prologue, saw him at Macclesfield today - how did he and his bro fare? This is looking like a dark Classic...
don't know how they are, hope both they & the BMW guys are ok - the cars weren't pretty it's definately a sobering reminder as we pass these cars
ouch yes.. we were having 708 serviced (1 pic earlier in thread.. yay.. bonus point to anyone who saw what sticker on my red helmet ;-) and saw remains of the green BM being shoehorned inro truck.. also remains of escort went past too.. sobering reminder of how close to the line is too close and everyone dances somewhere there...
Good news! (you know what I mean) ---> http://www.rallysportmag.com.au/home/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2166&Itemid=2
Yes, sadly, lots of carnage today. As many of us know, there is such a fine line between just right and a bit too much. Good fortune prevented more serious prangs with vintage cars getting terribly out of order and in amongst much faster cars. A mate of mine in a 944 porker caught up with one 400 metres after the start, luckily he saw him rather than hitting him hard on a bend or after a crest. Several of us told the stage commanders of the huge risk and that something should be done (doesn't take rocket science to solve) but it kept hapenning throughout the day. Just received an sms from rally HQ advising that we are coming 35th outright, 2nd in category and 1st in class. Nice pics Ash.
I got vid of a big-block car going up against some model-T looking thing into a corner - I was thinking wtf...
