Seems that the buyer's a Ferrari collector. BT only put up the ad in ST Classifieds yesterday and the response was overwhelming. Wonder what Tuck's gonna get next...

I'm surprised that they're actually going to drive those $m cars down Orchard Road. Obviously they've not met our local taxis, but they're definitely prepared for the ERP system - the R8 at the museum is already fitted with an IU hahaha...

I'll have to agree with Khips except for the last part about the GTR. The R8 may be a technical/electronic tour de force, but its' looks does not do justice to its' performance. The designer should have come up with something that does not resemble the TT, and the name 'R8' certainly does not sound exotic enough. The side carbon fiber panel looks awful and out of place. Just my thoughts...

My sentiments exactly! Most people won't even bat an eyelid if you tell them that you drive an Audi sports car but on the other hand, if you say that you drive an F-car, a Lambo or even a Porsche...

Oh sorry bros, I thought Khips was saying GTR over Maserati GT "can't ge'it outta my mind" than the R8. For that yes, I might agree to take up the GTR offer.

I think he's doing the right route. Get a proper house with garage then the toys not like me :( now I got to find myself a house with a proper carpark but priced beyond my reach while my toys depreciate aiyaya

Yea, that is unfortunately the by product of our fast paced country, people want the "pow" factor in the first word. So even if audi is brilliant, i am a sucker for the RS models but it will always remain a novelty for those who already have many cars in their stables, and wont mine sampling a novelty, knowing that the money thrown wont bring the usual ROI in terms of recognition or glam factor.

On another note...i never understand why people bother with Lotus anyway :D

I wonder if the increase in F car has got more to do with currency or the fact to make up for lost income after the recent fiasco

There's one in the classifieds. Has a basement for 10cars & I think asking 3.5mill?

I'm not too greedy, 2 inside with one along the street is fine. Saw 6/7 houses today & almost all needs A/A with a couple that needs ground up work. By then it's a 2+ territory. Which makes me think about that JB house again. 8Ksqft for less than 2 mil yum yum.

U sure or not? I'm selling next yr to make way for maybe the Maserati GT. But the Murcie is a good de-stressing machine, took it out last night to snake around all 3 tunnels & I'm on cloud nine. Nothing like the real thing.....:D

Just make sure you're not a bo-bo shooter & own goal OK? LoL

Foolish people measure a person by what he drives. I'm sure you've learnt this by now haven't you? :)

on another note, I saw a Testa under wrap just now but it was parked on the street in a private estate area. Such a pity.

bo-bo shooter..well hehe being a patriotic person, if war ever happens, i will be in HK/AUS reading about it hahahaha.

Unfortunately u will be amazed how many of our mutual friends still measure this way...dun forget i am on the other side of the fence..so i can see true colurs better, saddens me sometimes, but thats the way the world works.....but to be fair, those on my facebook hav been kind with me :)

Yes, that's the one I'm referring to. With a house like that, I'll have an excuse to buy 10 cars hahaha.

I definitely hope to try a Lambo someday so why not the Murcie, and yours is a nice example. Not sure if the Maserati GT is your type of car, but I guess it fulfills your need to have both an exotic and a family car.
