New Years Gathering in Pinehurst?

I was trying to think of a place which is central to all of us where we could get together to start the new year off right.

Place: Pinehurst
Date: Saturday, January 5th
Time: TBD
Exact Meeting Spot: TBD...but someplace in quaint downtown Pinehurst.

Thoughts? Who's in?

 

Assuming I have a car and the roads are dry, I'm in.

Didn't you just get it back from maintenance three of four months ago? Surely, you haven't driven it enough to require more maintenance already.

Still trying to find a location. I've never been into Pinehurst, so I'm trying to look up places online.

 

I'm trying to do some research as well. I'll contact Bob Snow and see if he knows of any F-chatters in the Pinehurst area.

Just in case there was any confusion...the plan for this get together is:

1. Drive into Pinehurst and begin meeting around 10:00AM on Saturday the 5th,
2. Meet & greet for about 2 hours,
3. Have lunch someplace around 12:00 noon, [if anyone has a good place...speak up!]
4. After lunch (2:00PM-ish), head back to our respective homes.

Looks good to me! I think they should change the image next to some of the menu item's description, I thought for a second it was a little picture of a guy peeing, but I guess it is really a guy teeing off and that is a golf club? Honestly, I had to look hard! Too much wine with dinner tonight I guess....

That menu looks good to me, however I think Greg's agenda is too short. Lets find some gokarts for after lunch.

Assuming dry roads, fuel in the car, cams turning, and rubber on the ground... I'll be there.

Since there were no dissenting comments regarding meeting at the Pinehurst CC, I propose we meet there between 10:00AM and 11:00AM, and slowly make our way inside for lunch. I'll give Pinhurst a call so they have a heads-up that a bunch of guys are coming for lunch.
