They reported on the radio this morning that Hulk actually found out from a reporter calling him for comment. He apparently hung up, then called the guy back saying this was the first he had heard of this. And Linda had been in Cali for the past 3 weeks.

Clearwater's version of a story for slow news day....

the 19-year-old Hulk spawn left her usual debacle duds at home -- and sported this bikini while sunbathing in Miami on Sunday. This is something to be truly thankful for. While her music career may not be rockin' -- her body sure is!

There was an episode of their show where she was thinking about leaving and they went to counseling. I didn't know if that was real or made up but it may have been real and been going on for a long time.

Maybe it's a scam to seperate their property before the lawsuits start. That way they can each claim a house as a homestead and maybe give each of their kids a place to shelter assets too.

    Here is the latest...

    http://www2.tbo.com/content/2007/nov/27/me-linda-bollea-seeks-half-of-estate-alimony-from-/?news-metro

CLEARWATER - In her divorce action against famed wrestler Hulk Hogan, Linda Bollea says she wants her share of two properties in Clearwater, which together are worth more than $9 million.

And she wants alimony, child support and attorney's fees.

These details are contained in the petition she filed last week in Pinellas Circuit Court. Her marriage of 24 years to Terry Bollea, a k a Hogan, is "irretrievably broken," the lawsuit says.

Would Hulk have to pay any fees to the boy Nick injured? If Hulk has to pay that is not fair as it is Nick's actions that caused the accident, what happens in this case?

So basically Nick Hogan is at fault for all of this. Nice one, kid. Don't forgot your brain-damaged friend in the hospital. Looks like none of this has affected Nick at all. No care in the world. Sad.

The 9-1-1 tapes were released today also. Every caller referred to the cars as "racing".

Hulk better be circling the wagons.

I don't think the divorce is a preventative measure to avoid a payout... I would think that since the estate was whole before the accident, any judgement would be applied to the whole, and would come out of both halves (Terry and Lindas).

I agree 100% with BMW.WilliamsF1 - what a runt Nick is and not a care in the world, apparently. Idiot. Utter oaf.

I would agree, I don't think the divorce will protect anything. It will actually bring all the assets out in the open.

Surely Hulk has an insurance policy or an umbrella to defend Nick and his assets. It may not be a good idea to sue the Hulk. People on this board have a lot of empathy for him and I suspect a jury would too. It's better to just sue Nick and let the insurance co. go fight it out.

I thought insurance didn't cover crime. Nick was driving drunk and racing....both crimes that insurance company could use to wiggle out of paying a penny?

But since Nick was a minor when the wreck happened the parents are liable. The fact that they did family street racing and gave him the means to cause the damage after he was an obvious threat makes them likely to lose big money.

True. I would not expect any insurance coverage for this wreck and lawsuit. I like the character of Hulk Hogan, but would easily award big damages to the family of the passenger.

Stories floating around today in clearwater-

Here is the opening to the story TMZ.com pulled:
17-year-old Nick Hogan loaded up on beer at a local grocery store just hours before he was involved in a horrific crash. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department has just released a full report on the August crash that includes a receipt from a local...
Did Bulky Hulky make Harv pull the story? Hmmmmmmmm.

.....I read the whole story before TMZ pulled it. It also said that Nick used HIS American Express card to purchase $80 worth of beer at Albertsons supermarket. He made the purchase between 2 and 3 PM. The accident happened around 7:30 that same night. The Albertsons cashier manually overrode the age check by typing in Nick's birthday as 0000. He must have been friends with Nick. I would love to know why TMZ pulled the story. This story proves that Graziano was not the one to provide the alcohol

The plot thickens again. I wonder if the cashier was friends with Nick? Could the cashier be charged somehow as well....I wonder....

Another story.... Says HULK bought the beer http://www.tampabays10.com/news/local/article.aspx?storyid=68608

In the report, Bollea’s friends detail the hours leading up to the crash, including a beer-buying spree at Albertson’s and a day of drinking on Hulk Hogan’s boat.

Days after the crash, an anonymous tip led police to the liquor store at an Albertson’s store in Clearwater.

A store clerk told police Hulk Hogan, “his son Nick and several other young males” had picked up several cases of beer earlier that day.

“She said that Hulk Hogan (Terry Bollea) paid for the purchase with either a credit card or a debit card as he signed for the purchase. She said Hulk Hogan (Terry Bollea) carried out two of the packages of beer and one of the other young men carried out the third package of beer,” read the police narrative.

An officer later returned to Albertson’s and obtained a copy of the receipt for Hogan’s purchase. A description was included in the police report:

2 cases of Miller Lite beer for $11.99 each
2 cases of Corona Extra beer for $13.99 each
1 case of Miller Chill beer for $10.99
5 bags of ice for $1.99 each

Both Jacobs and Lawrance say they then cruised around in Hulk’s boat, along with Graziano, Bollea and Hulk.

Around 2:30 in the afternoon, they say they cruised by Shephard’s Tiki Bar in Clearwater Beach but decided it was too crowded. They say they didn’t get out of the boat, and instead, headed to Three Rooker Island.

Later, the group returned to Shephard’s. All parties interviewed say Bollea was not allowed into the bar area at Shephard’s because he was underage.

Police spoke to a bouncer at Shephard’s, who told them Bollea’s friends were holding bottles of Corona beer when they came up to the bar “except Nicholas Bollea who was holding a large greenish colored plastic cup.”

Jacobs says the group left Shephard’s after about an hour. They say they then went back to the Hogan’s mansion in Bellair, “lounged by the pool,” took showers and left at about 7 p.m.

The four left in two separate cars, both owned by Hulk Hogan. Bollea and Graziano got into the yellow Supra, and Jacobs and Lawrance took the silver Dodge Viper. The plan was to go to dinner at Arigato’s Steakhouse in Clearwater.

On the way, Lawrance said the Supra, the Viper, a motorcycle and another vehicle stopped at a red light at the intersection of Court Street and Missouri Avenue.

When the light turned green, Lawrance said Jacobs cut in front of the motorcycle to pass Bollea. They did, and then they heard the crash behind them. Lawrance told investigators the Supra was probably going “at or near 100 miles per hour.” Both Jacobs and Lawrance said they were not racing with Bollea. Several of the people who called 9-1-1 disagree.

10 News contacted Bollea's attorney, Morris "Sandy" Weinberg, Jr. He said he had not seen the report and could not comment.

Or the signature on the receipt. So he was racing some friends in the silver car after spending the day drinking. Smart.

Interesting. He was always drinking Bud Light on the show. Guess they sponsored it, but really prefer Miller. Miller Chill is disgusting.

Anyway's, sounds like Nick was drinking a lot. Being around his dad would make this perfectly legal, at least in Texas. Poor judgement on Hulk's part to allow them to go out driving afterwards.

So could the viper have taken off and Nick thinking he was racing, then get cut off, slammed on brakes, spin out into tree? Sounds like the motorcyclist may be the best eye witness other than the kids in the Viper.

    More details from the wreck....

The silver Viper that Jacobs was driving had passed the Supra.

Jacobs caught the horrific aftermath in his rearview mirror. "Oh, my God," he was quoted as saying.

He then drove to get Hogan after being unable to reach him by phone, documents say.

Jacobs told police he and Bollea did not bolt from the intersection. Later, however, he told Linda Berry, the mother of John Graziano's girlfriend, that they had been racing.

It was Berry who overheard Jacobs' remarks to a pastor while they were at Bayfront, outside Graziano's room in the intensive care unit. She said she heard Jacobs say he was going 113 mph or 130 mph - she wasn't sure which. The speed limit was 40 mph.

An accident reconstruction by investigators determined the Supra was going 61 mph to 66 mph - a range that doesn't take into account the loss of vehicle energy when the car jumped the median curb and struck the palm tree, one document released Tuesday says.

At least one paramedic did not think Graziano, who had a terriable injury to his forehead, was alive. Some witnesses thought the same

If it was Nick who bought the beer and the clerk did override the age check Hulk may get off if the Grazzino's family goes after Albertson's instead. I would think Albertson's has deeper pockets than Hulk.

If your speeding and have a wreck your insurance co. pays. I don't think the fact that he is drunk and speeding stops coverage. I also think those prices for cases of beer is really a 12 pack. That's what I pay in Fl. The grocery store will also be sued I believe and may have a lot of liability. Normally the driver, passenger, grocery store, and who ever else they can think of share responsibility. The passenger knew Nick was drinking and so he is responsible for that portion of fault. That % could be 15 or more depending on the evidence. It's good Hulk did not give the kids beer before the wreck.
