Discussions and planning have begun. Last (er this) year's thread: ---> http://aussieexotics.com/forum/cars/lap-of-tasmania-t272.0.html
btw, compulsory viewing is this video - a compilation of some of the best shots to Duelling Banjos... Took me 3 days to put together. ---> http://aussieexotics.com/videos/tasmania-the-deliverance-state-10590 Above link is hi-res but requires a browser plug-in - highly recommended to see full DVD quality, otherwise here's a low quality version: ---> http://www.lulu.tv/?p=10590
Yeah, I just got that too... *sigh* - we've been talking about it today, bandwidth is basically doubling each month - getting out of control - got an email from the host saying they want to increase the plan (and bills) so I sent an email back asking what happens when the limit is reached as I recall mention of excess fees so was just expecting to have to pay a bunch more next month. Nope, no return email, nothing. Thanks a f*cking lot. :| Looks like either upgrade again or move to another host with better service.
No problems here with the site. I was very jealous back when you did the first run and have always thought about going over for the weekend and taking my Gti for a spin around Tassie. Any chance I can get some notes on the roads you took etc? Again, very jealous
Put me and Amanda down ,we will be in the "Flying Spur" bit like the Lancaster following the Spitfires/P51s.
I dont want a 430 Scud but I do want to go on the Lap of the Map! Ash, can you PM me with the details once they are sorted? I am happy to help with organization if needed....just let me know.
Okey dokey. So what are you going to do when the car you want has a few tasty options that sends the price firmly into orbit at $700k? Buy a Stripper Scud or dump and run?
Ash, those are some of your best shots ever. Thoroughly enjoyed the video too, absolutely stunning scenery. Convinced me to see more of Oz before heading overseas again. Could you PM me with the route you took? I'm taking the ferry over in late Dec/early Jan for a driving/photography holiday. When in 2008 do you plan to do the next lap of Tassie?
Na,with Amanda on board its at a quick step only, but on the melbourne mille a few years ago in the sister car ,we/us held out a Aston martin DB4 to about 115 MPH ,then Amanda hit me on the head and yelled slow down.
