Looks good ash! Classic Adelaide must be a barrel of fun. One of those things i'd like to see at some stage
You can do it the hard way in Photoshop by manually tracing around the object, then inverting your selection and desaturating it - will take anywhere between 5 and 20 minutes, or I just do it in Picasa whereby you can use a tool which desaturates on a radius.
