I think both of them have been well past their sell by date. perhaps they can go to NASCAR.... I think both would do well in DTM.

NASCAR is going to turn into the old folks home of F1. It sure will be fun when they get up to speed.

Here's wishing Burnee Hecklestone quits or at least shuts up. He adds nothing to the conversation IMVHO. ;)

I'm concerned ... twice in one week Bernie makes sense, and I completely agree. 2 old and boring and slow drivers removed would allow new young and fast and brave drivers to come in to F1. My God they might even try a passing attempt :D :D

Bernie makes sense but I dont get why guys like Bernie and Max especially feel the need to speak out on these issues? I mean you don't hear the NFL commissioner saying which players ought to be traded and which team he hopes wins. There should at least be the perception of complete unbias even if that's not the reality.

Are Ralf or Giancarlo going to do anything different based on Bernies divine opinion? No, of course not. No more than Bernie would do whatever Ralf or Giancarlo suggest he does. But the difference is I don't hear any of the drivers going in the press saying what Max should be doing (by name) or what Bernie should be doing (by name). Why do they not return the favor?

He's got a point. He finished just as well as Massa, who many here feel hung the moon and is just biding his time until he explodes forth to win one of many WDC. Oh, wait Fisi was following team orders for the full season and finished fourth in the standings Massa wasn't under any orders and finished fourth. ;)

I still think Fisi's got speed just no motivation. The 2007 Renault was a dog, and I think he did a good job with it.

It should be up to the teams to decide how long they want to keep a driver in the league, not this crazy guy who won't even let BMW have some of the Brabham cars of the 80s for their museum.

If Ralph or Fisi has a seat for 2008 it is because the team management has concluded that they are better than any alternatives, including the available crop of up-and-coming drivers. I believe that all F1 drivers have to constantly prove themselves relative to their competition and it is even harder to keep a seat if you are older and more expensive.

Fisi was once very competitive, and I think he could teach LH a thing or two if he went to McLaren. What choices does McLaren now really have???
