Awkward but not that unusual (5036 has the same treatment)

    The wipers are peculiarly reversed.....................................................

Oh, and of course the "S" ;^D

Reminds me of one of those blind salamanders since it lacks the headlights and fits the hue pretty well. Still nice to look at.

Not unusual for a RH drive car (as is 5036) but this car is LHD.

Just to clarify, the wipers are always parked on the passenger side of the 'screen. If they are not, it is indeed a post-production modification by somebody.

I think the mechanic was tired when he popped them back on and the owner hasnt bothered to correct it. Should take him a few minutes if he wishes to correct it. I promise you next time I see the car I will take care of it personally, although he will probably read this and go in the garage and take care of it today!

Was just an observation. Sure gonna cause a bunch of needless paint repair first time they're turned on. What's the price of the car?

That last one almost looks like a video game screenshot. Pretty cool.

    Thanks for posting!

Awesome images by a talented photographer of a well-known car still in its original period colors (Luci Del Bosco).

The Miura SV is the the greatest Lamborghini ever built and fittingly it is Ferruccio's Swan Song. Simply gorgeous.

Today a question for the experts. I took this picture from an Altissimo rear light a few weeks ago, but it is not from a Miura SV. It’s from another Italian car maker located more in the north of Sant’Agata Bolognese. I’m curious to know if this rear light is exactly the same as the one installed on the Miura SV. A Miura maven my help.

Correct. Congratulation. It is a 1971 Fiat Dino Coupé 2400 (Bertone design) with the famed 2.4 liter Ferrari engine (cast iron block!) also installed in the Dino 246 and the Lancia Stratos.

Some of us have purchased sets of rear Altissimo lights in Europe from specialists and have learned to always say its for a Fiat Dino Coupe as the price is twice as much if you say its for a Miura SV!!

These are the ONLY lights used by Bertone for the P400SV. 2 or 3 cars have other lights as used on certain Maseratis & De Tomasos, and they are post-production modifications by the factory or privateers.

Miura SV S/N 5080 back in June 2006 participating at the Mutschellen hill climb in Switzerland. Now somewhere in the States with a second real (hopefully) “long time collector”.

Mecha at the steering wheel, I know them personally, we just visited the swiss owner (not mecha) last saturday and had a look at his collection.
He was also offered the silver targa 4808 together with 5080 but had not enough money liquid to buy them all. (He bought a 350GT, Jarama, SV5080 in a package).
