Now its up to Jerry Jones to open up his big fat wallet, and keep Jason Garrett. He has one of the best offensive minds in the NFL. This team is championship caliber with the coaching and players it has. I wish we still had Sean Payton too for Defensive Coordinator :(

With the new stadium coming to Arlington, this will make it a better transition than I thought. The only thing I want to add since they will be moving to Arlington which will make them the Tarrant County Cowboys, you can thank Laura Miller for that.

They're not changing their name are they? I couldn't see that happening.

A permanent change to America's Team, that would be a great name.

The Patriots might object ...not to mention the current Superbowl Champion Colts. ;)

Cowboys claimed it first, and live it out to the fullest. The Patriots cheat, and thus would not represent the image of America well.

Romo was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 13 against the Packers. Wow, somebody's pretty good.

Well...he deserved it. He is having a wonderful year. ;)

He is now in 2nd place behind Brady. I am impressed considering that Brady is a veteran. Looking forward to a Brady/Romo shootout in the Superbowl.

I must admit, he has gained a lot of respect from me due to his success this season... but would someone PLEASE tell him to turn his freekin hat around when he's on the sidelines... that looks so stupid and immature.

Great pics. I just love that throwback jersey it's one of the best in the league, just like Tony Romo.

I agree, but it's like his trademark now.....it really fits his personality too.

I had my Colts hat on backwards the other day (same colors as the cowboys) and someone called me romo, I was like, what the heck!!? I eventually turned it back around just so people wouldnt' think something. It's just more comfortable to wear it backwards and I hate the bill being in my face too.

Ferraridude - this is from an article on ESPN ranking all the QB's. (in case you didn't see it in the NFL thread) :D

"About the only thing we agreed on was that Tom Brady was No. 1 and Peyton Manning was No. 2. From there, the first debate came, with some feeling that Tony Romo was right there with those two, but we eventually decided Romo was No. 4, behind Brady, Manning and Brett Favre."

I did see the ESPN rankings JayO, I don't agree with any of the top 4. I still have Peyton, Tommy Boy, Tony, Brett, then Big Ben.
Wait till next year, Tony Romo will be the #1 QB in the NFL.
